Mixed in 2005 with DJ Martinson (in this bedroom of course) and was the follow up to VibeIsRight Vol 12.  To this day many people debate if this or Vol 12 were the best of the series.  You decide!

Mixed in 2004 live by DJ Pullano and Martinson.  This was the mix that really turned the corner for me as a DJ.  I love that fact that over 7 years later people still text me and say they are listening to this mix.  The whole thing was mixed live in DJ Martinson's bedroom on CDJs and Rane mixer.  After we laid it all out I took it home and used Sound Forge to make the cuts and edits.  It was primitive looking back but at the time it was all we had!

DJ Pullano - B My Inspiration

Mixed in 2006 as a follow up to "The Official Unofficial Mix" hence the name Mini Mix II.  At this point my plan was just to release shorter mixes but there was always so much good music out I ended up filling the full CD.   At that time I didn't have a designer so I made the cover with some simple clip art and paid a good friend to print off a bunch on his "state-of-the-art" CD printer/duplicator.  Looking back they looked pretty bad but at the time no one was really printing their own CDs so to me it was awesome!

Mini Mix 3 was the follow up to, wait for it....Mix Mix 2!  Right around this time I started to really learn how to use Acid Pro and started to incorporate a lot of production elements into my mixes.   This mix has a bunch of original mashups and bootlegs that I made with Acid and also a bunch of effects layered throughout the CD.  This also was the first intro I made from scratch.  Around this time my actual DJ career started to take off in Chicago and I was playing places like Hard Drive, Stone Lotus and Spy Bar to great crowds every week.

A little something about my latest mix...

I've never been one to try to put out the latest mixes of all the hottest tunes at the moment.  I have absolutely nothing against those mixes, in fact those are the ones I tend to listen to the most, but for me it's always been more than that when it comes to my creations.  I try to create something that blends the line between a mix and production, taking pieces from both arts and combining them together.  

Timeless appeal is what I’m really after. Something that doesn't get forgotten but instead is memorable for years to come.  One of the best complements that I love to get is when someone tells me they still have a CD from years back playing in their car right now.  Or when someone texts me and says they are listening to a mix I made 10 years ago, that makes it all worth it. To me that's what it's about, it's the journey the songs take you on and the want to continue to take that trip over and over again as it drops you off somewhere new each time. 
 
I've had the pleasure to work with great influences and other DJs along the way, most of which hail from Chicago which makes me proud to say I’m from the same city.  We have some of the best DJs in the world in Chicago and I'm lucky to be able to be influenced by many of them.
