I've been writing music most of my life. Songs have always been the place where I've sorted out the events of day. If you trace these songs back far enough they tell a story of where I've been and what I've seen along the way. That said, most people don't have the time to sort through the hundreds of songs that have collected in the wake of my 20 plus years behind a piano, and that's why I love "Cecilia and the Satellite". As a song it encapsulate so much living against the back drop of a new life. Cecilia was written with the knowledge that my wife and I would soon meet our first child. With the hope of avoiding territory this type of song often treads, I tried to create a road map of the life I had lived leading up to that moment. One my daughter might look back on some day. A strange life of constant motion, spent traveling in the pursuit of music. A life I’ve nearly lost on more than one occasion and one which I am thankful for, now more than ever. Deep down this song is about more than me and where I’ve been, it’s about more than my daughter and what I want for her. It’s about being proud of where you come from and wanting the most for the people you share your world with.

The Damnwells - Tonight and Forever

Ryan Terrigno is an indie singer-songwriter from Anaheim, CA - five minutes down the road from Disneyland.

A musician since 13, songwriter since 16 - Ryan spent the first 12 years of his career fronting local Orange County rock bands Wester and We Are The Arsenal. On the strength of 2 full-length albums and 4 E.P.s, he toured across the U.S. and Japan with stops on the Vans Warped Tour, and opening slots for Lit, Angels & Airwaves, Senses Fail, Hawthorne Heights & others.

In July of 2022, Ryan entered the studio to record his debut solo album, "Alive & Well." The LP was produced by Alex Dezen, an industry veteran known for his work with The Damnwells & Justin Bieber, and mastered by Whynot Jansveld, whose recent resume includes Dave Matthews Band and Butch Walker. The album is a stunning collection of heartbreakingly-beautiful songs that blend a variety of genres, from Folk and Indie to Pop and Alternative. Ryan's sound is further enhanced by an impressive lineup of world-class musicians, including Zac Clark (Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness), Brian Griffin (The Black Crowes), and Rich Hinman (Sara Bareilles).

"Alive & Well" is a career-defining moment for Terrigno, and an artfully-crafted love-letter to the human condition. Ryan's lyrics are deeply personal and highly relatable, touching on themes of life, love, work, mortality, and everything in between. 

"Alive & Well" was released October 27th, 2023, and is available on all major streaming services.
