Rychie started out singing at the age of 3, in the Church youth choir. Following her father’s footsteps, she always felt the joy inside when doing what she loved to do. Consumed in the arts as a child, Rychie explored singing, dancing, acting, modeling, writing, rapping and design. She was influenced by Tina Turner, Michael and Janet Jackson, Whitney Houston, Mary J Blige, Madonna, Monica, Brandy, Lauren Hill, and singer and songwriter Betty Wright. Rychie has an Acoustic sound that carries over a very unique rasp, but all still mixed with a lot of soul from New Orleans. It was clear that she was born to entertain as she became a local celebrity in her own right. She has the “it” factor and a globally appealing warm, bubbly personality. Rychie has been in four different singing groups all to realize that, it was all just experience to help her manifest to the nest level of being a solo artist. Now taking nothing for granted Rychie walks a straight line. Though her journey has not been easy, many hard lessons have been learned. With a positive attitude and keeping God first, Rychie is focused on the prize ahead, and now a new star is born!
