Yumi introduced me to Queena whose studio is in the same building as Ore Art. They wanted to improvise a sound bath together. Improvising with other people is always a challenge but the rewards can be great. Trust is a big part of a successful performance and their performances were pretty amazing. Queena played a single medium size gong while Yumi played her large symphonic gong. Their improvisations yielded emotional and moving recordings and are some of my favorite. Even though they seldom play together, their connection and dialogue borders on instinct. 

For this recording, Queena and Yumi sat on opposite ends of the room with their backs to each other. I thought it would be interesting to have a separate rhythm and sound immersing the listener. The placement of the gongs resulted in an interesting dramatic imbalance.

About Aquarius ✨

Inspired by my astrological sign, Aquarius, this release aims to encourage others to have a more positive perception of themselves.

While acknowledging that we all experience challenging days and dark moods, I believe in the transformative power of embracing these emotions. Through diverse dynamics, we can navigate the spectrum of feelings and find a balance. Much like the innocence, dreams, smiles, and dancing we experience as children, growing up requires us to discover a guiding light to explore the richness of our emotions.

 This release marks the continuation of my musical journey over the past decade. "Aquarius EP " has been a labor of love, a culmination of many years of dedication to ensure it resonates with my own DNA. The musical landscape of "Aquarius“ leans towards a house infused with lofi elements, creating a dreamy ambiance. Hi. I'm Rylan Chronic. Also Known as BubblegumDJ.

These  tracks are a cross between synthwave soundscapes, with some Driftphonk, Dubstep, Trap, EDM. D&B, funk etc.
I can't remember life without wanting to be involved in music and got a guitar as a kiddo.
Onwards.
I began drumming in bands at 19 and stuck with that until I began lead vocals in duo that had a positive response.
I'm a singer, songwriter, multi instrumentalist and composer, arranger. 
My focus as I've grown is mostly on production and mix engineering, that's what I love passionately. I also DJ as a mode of musical enjoyment..
I appreciate all forms of art but consider music the one that outshines and encompass all.
have a listen to some of my digital stuff that occurs serendipitously. 
These soundscapes are fun to make and are created to bring joy.
Working at the rate of inspiration I have some acoustic tracks I'm working on in a total different genre...you are in a world full of "the next big thing". I wish for every artist to find something phenomenal and groundbreaking to bring to the table.
