This is a happy song and the first completed track from my new CD. It is a fun, uptempo nod to 70s progressive rock bands and was mixed by my Nashville friend, Jamie Tate at the Rukkus Room. Nico Staub from King Llama plays bass and Jesse Williams from West Coast Gold plays drums. I play guitar and keys.

Blue Sky Day

For my 5th annual Christmas Medley, I wanted to create the illusion that the listener is dialing through radio stations and happening upon versions of Christmas tunes recorded by artists who never actually did holiday albums! Case in point, three of my favorite bands/artists (in order of appearance): The Doors, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, and George Duke.

All music was painstakingly arranged, performed, produced and mixed by myself to match each artist's sound and style as closely as possible. I hope you enjoy, and Happy Holidays!

Hand Away

My father, Robert Williams, is a brilliantly talented musician and songwriter. I owe him so much for informing the musician and man I've become. To honor him and his work, I decided to record a cover version of one of his songs. "Stranded" is a favorite of mine; I grew up listening to my parents' band rehearse and perform this song countless times. I hope this helps bring a bit more well-deserved exposure to my dad's music - Thanks for listening!
