Ryan Adam details the irony of finding true love after being cheated on. The inspiration for the song came after finding himself running into his cheating ex at a bar where the ex tries rekindling their flame. Ryan Adam writes “Does he tell you he loves you / I loved you / More than he ever could/ So I hope you love him for good.” Taking a good listen, Kygo, Becky Hill, Justin Bieber - these are the names that come to mind when listening to Ryan Adam.
    
‘Love Him For Good’ is the sixth release to date from the artist and is another step forward in the direction of his new sound which differs from his balled debut single back in 2018 ‘Every Day That I’m With You’. Ryan Adam describes his sound as “I try to blend the soul and R&B influences I was raised with and learned to sing with, over modern dance productions.” ‘Love Him For Good’ features production by San Francisco based dance producer Caden Jester who backs Ryan's vocals with shimmering instrumentation, while Miami based R&B/HipHop Producer Ja.eri arranged the vocal production. Mixing and mastering was completed at Mplus Media Studios in Miami, Florida by Grammy award winning engineers Waldy D. and Maria Elisa Ayebre. The release of ‘Love Him For Good’ follows the artist's previous summer release ‘I Want More’ which racked up 20,000 monthly Spotify listeners across 76 different countries at the time of its release.
