This collection of songs, currently of length 10, represent songs to be released on an album titled "LILAC: Life, Independence, Liberty, and Autonomy in a Car." I have written several other songs from this to-be album, but they haven't been recorded yet. All of these songs were recorded using the standard Sound Recorder app for Android, which means they will be quiet and not of the most mastered modern quality. However, these demo versions are merely meant to give you a raw taste of my compositions. As always, I hope you feel something, be it good, bad, or ugly! I appreciate you for listening!

Banana Dick

Elegant Wood is a song about the happiness one often finds in the anticipation of love, even when that love comes to nothing at all. I hope you enjoy this composition. It's my newest.

From On High appears probably to be a song about getting high. But this is not entirely the point of the song; the more general point is that when we're On High we take life differently, we see things differently, and we become better people, we make a better world.

I hope you enjoy this oddity of a song. I am still not quite sure what this is or why I've placed it into the ears of the world. Either way, thanks for listening :-)

My name is Rythur and I'm a folk artist and a teacher. Currently, I teach Calculus (and Psych Stats) at CU Boulder.

I have a PhD in Mathematics with a Concentration in Statistics and a Ph Double D in Kickn' A$$. And it's cool,

As for the music you hear here, I am the composer, performer, recorder, and master on all tracks. In other words, these songs were usually created in a musical, and possibly social, vacuum.
