After watching this weeks Frozen planet and the plight of the penguins .
Their feathers and down are designed to keep them warm in the cold Ice. with climate change the ice is turning to water and ice rain .They can't keep warm and inevitably die of cold. This track is for the Adelie Penguins.

William Paasche joins me on a dynamic and explorative jazz-rock journey... that perhaps some could compare to going on an OFF ROAD adventure! 
Actually... an "Off Road" adventure was actually what was on my mind when I composed this piece as I was traveling in the great South-West a few years ago.
I'm thrilled with the extra dimension of sound and energy that Willian Paasche brings to this track with his signature sounding style firey synth solo!
William also used a new experimental sound on this track(something never heard from him before), as he performs his synth solo using a Moog Sub-37 plugged into a Marshall Origin 20 HC guitar amp cranked up. VERY COOL!
It's an eight minute adventurous sonic journey... so strap in and ENJOY!

'Crossing The Boundary' Is a Jazz Fusion piece inspired by the growing sense of a lack of compassion and respect for one another and the land. The building in the cover image and taken by Freddy Bence, demonstrating what I am sensing "world wide". A downward spiral in care for ouselves and our surroundings.
However, forever the optimist, I look forward to an upward turn in the situation, when common sense once again hits in.

Some people talk about the economic value of war.
But this is not a conspiracy; it is simply violence.

No one can rule the world, no one can speak of justice.

The world keeps spinning at strange angles.
More and more speed, and at dangerous angles.
Eventually, centrifugal force will prevail and we may be thrown out.

We became quite familiar with tanks and missiles.
Spend money on expensive weapons and make money on reconstruction. 
Is that the rule?

We mourn the hundreds of lives lost in the earthquake.
And we honor the tens of thousands of lives lost in the war.

This city's underground mall is becoming desolate.
This place is a graveyard of old-fashioned consumption.

There's no need to dig underground. And no one buys stuff anymore.

In the past, this city bombed and most of the things burned.
The survivors built shacks and developed them.

Certainly that's  nice history, but we don't need to do it again.
