Don't Get In My Way - Livestream Track 02

I had the absolute pleasure of spinning some tracks at private shindig!

There was a total fire ban over the weekend, so I have no clue why I was permitted behind the decks.

Anyway, here's my set from the weekend, gracefully re-recorded at home the day after because I didn't press the little red button when I started.. oh well!

Heya! This is my first submission to SKIO, and I have gracefully given the original track a remix in my own unique style of Psytrance. 

I wanted to make the original into a full intensity dancefloor mover, while still preserving the theme and soaring, emotional melodies. 
I rewrote the piano myself, and synthesized most, if not all, all of the sci-fi ear candy to be complimentary of the original synths.
I also decided to change the progression of the bassline throughout the whole track to make it more exciting and a little bit less predictable, to keep the listener on their toes.
I found myself experimenting with blending different elements of different genres in some sections of the track, I hope you can hear some of these influences yourself!

Thanks for checking out my remix, I had an absolute blast making this, and look forward to many more in the future! I welcome any and all feedback so I can further hone my craft
