Shortly after @Aussteiger's successful debut on Dub Disco we knew exactly that we wanted our long time friends S&W (@S-and-W) on board for our second release. These guys have been a huge influence on us for a long time now. First we fell in love with their eclectic and powerful DJ sets and when we heard the demos of these hardware nerds we were truly blown away.

When we asked them to produce our second release they handcrafted this EP full of lovely analogue sounds for us. It surely stands in contrast to the first record and by that underlines exactly what Dub Disco is about: A journey through the vastness of electronic music.

Cashmere Green is the opener on this EP. It's a true Nu-Funk, West-Coast influenced banger with a distant cosmic flair carried by meticulous and peculiar drums. Driven by a pending groove, this one invites the light into any dreamers ears and ensures your very own trippy dancefloor experience.

On the flip, we dive into Wind up Bird. The track starts off as a scratchy and vibrant House track, riding on a funky bassline. It gets carried away by dreamy chords and breaks down into an incredible melancholic melody that will keep no eye dry.

Finally there is Machine Love. An 80s influenced open air peak time party tool that will definitely put a smile on your face and a rocket in your pocket.

The sky was a royal blue and the air was thick under the heat of the sun. As the birds flew high between the trees she pondered what it might be like to soar with them, to wind herself up and throw herself into the sky out there. She dreamed of flying wildly between the branches, careering above great cities and looking down on the insignificance of life below. She wanted out, that was for sure but she could see little way. Maybe one day she would fly with them, just not for now. She extinguished her cigarette and walked back inside. 

S&W are the next to release on Dub Disco. The pair offer up the newly founded label's second release which sees them contribute three dance floor cuts.

Prongof108 is a label that releases music between the sounds of UFOs and Palm Trees. The project started as a radio show on Cashmere Radio in Berlin and is on air since 2015. We are proud to involve close connected artists in every step of the process, from the cover art and graphic design on our record sleeves to the mixing and mastering process. Gustaaf has released the first EP on "Prongof108" and has another record on "Turnland" on the way. S&W have released an EP and an album on "Dub Disco" so far. Their releases have brought them plays from Tim Sweeney, Dazion, Kasper Björke, Lauer, Johannes Albert and many more on air and in the clubs.
