This ones for all the b-boys who have attended the Breakin Bread club over the years and all the b-boy DJ’s around the world that spin Breakin Bread tunes in their b-boy battle sets. The drums are looped as if they were 2 breakbeat records being doubled. B-boys all around the world will be pulling their freezes as the stabs drop in on the start of each eight. The backing instruments are kept sparse to keep the drums in focus and Sabina Challenger laid down an extra backing style vocal that only drops in towards the end of the track. Get Lucky? This is a masterful piece of b-boy magic. Arranged and produced like a funk track from the 70’s, this is not your straight looped beats for the average b-boy. This builds and grooves in a way that only a dancer would know about. K. Sabroso began his musical journey on the dance floor, studying the science of beats and breaks while earning his stripes as a b-boy. In 2009 Sandoval decided to focus his attention on music, both as a DJ and producer. With musical influences across the board, he has explored countless genres including Dancehall, Latin Alternative, Downtempo, Trip-Hop, House, Glitch, Jungle, Trap, and Jazz... but he never wanders far from the breakbeats that fuel him as both a dancer and frequent Dj of breaking battles.
