Antoine Berjeaut nous offre un nouveau rdv mensuel pour partager, témoigner et documenter la nouvelle "nouvelle scène jazz-indé". Il sélectionnera les sorties actuelles qui n'ont pas ou peu de voix dans les médias mainstream, mais qui commencent à trouver leur place chez les meilleurs dealers de vinyles, Bandcamp, playlists de DJ insomniaques et bien sûr au Grigri.

Cette nouvelle scène décentralisée, hyper créatrice, inspirée, plus dansante et décomplexée du jazz US, cartonne en live et touche une nouvelle audience et surtout n'a plus de frontières. Sur disque, en club, tout le monde veut du live et c'est tant mieux.

Sans barrières de genres, Antoine Berjeaut passera donc nouveautés et bonnes vibes. Avis aux auditeurs curieux, improvisateurs explorateurs de tous bords, bedroom DJs, backpackers et autres boombapers de tous horizons. Un lien existe, et c'est la tâche à laquelle s'attaque Antoine, trouver le fil, de Chicago à Helsinki en passant par Londres et Paris, un petit tour d'horizon subjectif non exhaustif de ce qui se fait de meilleurs dans nos contrées.

"Holywood hustlers" is an imaginary soundtrack inspired by movies and series from the 60s and 70s.
14 songs recorded live, composed by Sébastien Blanchon (drums, fender rhodes, hammond organ, clavinet, korg) and Emanuel Marée (drums, guitar, bass, percussion) then in addition a horn session. Each track illustrates scenes of pursuit, deal, investigation worthy of the greatest films of the time.
An album which will undoubtedly delight fans of funk and rare groove.
