One producer to have really caught my attention so far this year is without a doubt the Netherlands’ Boeboe. Having come at us from nearly out of the blue we now look forward to tunes dribbling forth on his SoundCloud all the time. With a summer line up stacked full of gigs all across the EU it’s amazing Boeboe still has the time to churn out the material he does at the rate he does it! Just the other day we saw the release of his latest EP ‘El Dorado’ on the forward thinking bass imprint Saturate Records and man does this shit pack a punch. Not only does Boeboe pull out all the stops to take us on a constantly undulating journey through bass fueled sound but he does it in a way that fits in perfectly with Saturate’s preexisting catalogue of releases. On top of being a truly versatile EP in the means of its sound it mustn’t go without noting that Boeboe has an all-star lineup of producers on the remixing end of this badboy. With the likes of G Jones, Bleep Bloop, Subp Yao, and Liquid Rockz on deck you can rest assured they do each original track justice as you work your way through this pay what you would like release.
