I can't believe that I woke up today
because Everything real seems so far away

I talk to myself when no one is around
I have a tendency to get lost, but somehow I get found
I got OCD and my ex she says I'm cheap
But take one look at me there is no animosity
I like getting goofy when I'm with my boys
We'z be in a band where we makes a lotta noise
I tend to leave my phone at home because sometimes I just need to roam
I got to have some time alone to play guitar and sit and zone and 
I sport a beard and I know my socks don't match
But if you give it time I know that you will be attached

I want a lover who feels like a friend
Someone who wants me for who which that I am
Is that too much for me to ask
because I wish I could find someone just like that

And that's when I saw her standing there
But all I did was sit and stare
Because what good is a big banana
When you really need to grow a pear
Thinking of the things that I wanted to ask like
“Can you get freaky but do you have class,
Are you funkier than the rest,
and do you dig dudes with hairy chests?”
If I had any game I would spit it 
but I didn't so I just went home
I put on my records and then

We can pick up and decide to go
Or we could spend the weekend, in bed, alone
Let's go outside and enjoy the weather I can feel things getting better
