The vocals in the middle are a little too high, they are overpowering the mix at places. Maybe put a compressor on and make them sit lower and it would be great!

This was performed by the wonderful JACK quartet, who have a tradition of visiting the school each year, so the department of composition writes something for them. This piece is in Rondo form which is essentially ABACADA... it has a distinct A section and different contrasted parts that always comes back to A. It is a very fun form of music. I am actually happy with the piece and how it turned out especially how JACK played it, they are a really skilled group

An Interlude to Remember, ft. Alyssa Smith: 2014’s “Jump Start the Soul” album is the jumping-off point for this project. Alyssa Smith is a talented musician and composer who specializes in solo improvisation and has worked with me on several projects. Her talented fingers wove together this instrumental medley of the melodies from “JSTS,” reflecting some of the brightness and joy I found in that work and reprising that journey.

To celebrate 30 years since the original classic, I've remixed the Sanxion C64 music - using nothing but a single SID (the same hardware as the original track was written with)

This is a 3 channel SID file. No samples. No outboard gear.
