Morel, an Interdisciplinary Sound Artist born in Santiago de Chile during the 1980s, is a techno visionary deeply immersed in the intricate realm of electronic soundscapes. Rooted in a profound passion for the fusion of technology and music, Morel's journey as an artist has been a relentless exploration of the technical intricacies that underpin the genre.
His fascination with electronic music ignited during his formative years when he explored the rhythmic allure of drums and the expressive potential of the cello. This early fascination laid the foundation for a career that seamlessly melds analog, classical, and electroacoustic elements into a distinct techno signature.

Morel's compositions are a testament to his technical prowess and an unwavering commitment to crafting immersive sonic experiences. Romanian classical guitarist turned techno artist. Influenced by uplifting grooves and hypnotic sounds, balancing body and mind through music. Born in 1986, in Bucharest, Romania, michael ius began studying classical music at the age of 14. He completed his education at the prestigious George Enescu Music High School, followed by the Music University in Bucharest, where he specialised in classical guitar. Michael's first encounter with techno came in 2012, when he discovered a whole new universe of thoughts and emotions. Since then, he has been tirelessly exploring and refining his production and djing skills. “Experience isn't learning. True learning is thoughtful evaluation of experience.”

DIVERSION is a duo from Cork, Ireland, whose journey began early through a shared passion for electronic music. After meeting in school and playing their first DJ sets together, production quickly followed. Since then, they have released over 25 tracks and four EPs, steadily shaping their own sonic identity.

Over the past two years, that identity has evolved significantly. Their sound has moved toward a more raw and driving form of techno, stripped back and focused on momentum, pressure and atmosphere.

Signal From The Burren captures this shift and marks a clear statement of where DIVERSION stand today. Produced throughout 2025, the EP reflects a refined yet versatile approach, with each track contributing its own character while remaining grounded in a cohesive vision.

Following two previous releases with Grab The Groove, the label felt like a natural home for this next chapter. GTG SOLO 008 presents DIVERSION at a decisive moment, confident in direction and committed to pure techno.
