ekøs es el principal proyecto artístico de Candela Lacourlig, en el cual la premisa es la introspección a través de la navegación y combinación de sonidos modulares, industriales y atmosféricos, baterías prominentes y ritmos tribales; una experiencia del orden hipnótico que fluctúa hacia el hard techno y hard groove dependiendo de la energía del público, siempre manteniendo la impronta mental.

Se encuentra trabajando en el underground de Buenos Aires desde 2019, desarrollándose como DJ, organizadora y recientemente A&R.
Esto le permitió presentarse en distintos ciclos del país y compartir cabina con artistas como Jonás Kopp, Josefina Muñoz, Franco Rossi, Julieta Kopp, Centeno, Micaela Escudero, Bacchvs, Zisko, entre otros.

Uno de sus más grandes intereses es la difusión de la cultura que le representa, lo cual demostró con su participación en la organización de Venus (ciclo de fiestas de techno con enfoque feminista) y en las plataformas de _Ground techno, donde además de organizar y difundir material de artistas del underground argentino y bonaerense también realizó entrevistas a DJs con mayor trayectoria, con el fin de visibilizar problemáticas comunes del ambiente de la música electrónica para abrir distintos debates. Además ha sido parte del equipo de trabajo de Imminent Records, sello de Hard techno y sonido industrial, donde se desempeñó como content y artist manager.

En 2023 dio inicio a una nueva etapa dentro de su carrera y su búsqueda por fomentar el arte, más enfocada en la producción y promoción de la música, gracias a lo cual ha sellado sus primeros remixes (Asymmetrical Records y Holliday Addicts).

Actualmente se desempeña como A&R - explorando y seleccionando nuevos artistas para el catálogo de Holliday Addicts- y es parte del róster de artistas de Urbeat, ciclo orientado al techno hipnótico.

Ela tem trabalhado na cena underground de Buenos Aires desde 2019, atuando como DJ, organizadora e, recentemente, como A&R. Boulder, CO - On December 22, Craig Heneveld releases “μMod,” a snappy hypnotic techno track that builds its foundation on a punchy 909 kick and crisp hit hat. The song is led by a sinister synth arpeggio that snakes around the song, leaving delays of digital dust and reverb in its wake. The track ebbs, flows, and sometimes stretches like it’s pulling apart at its seams. It’s this sonic elongation where the track gets its title, “μMod.” The real μMod is a knob on the Eurorack module Mimephon which provides a modern take on sound copying, echo, and repeating devices, creating a unique delay effect that also takes on characteristics of vibratro, flanger, and chorus. This combination, when the timing is adjusted with this knob, creates this effect that sounds like light is being sucked into a black hole, where its particles bend into the singularity.
