Andrømeda is a Barcelona-based, Polish DJ and producer whose raw, hypnotic, and assertive sound fuses Detroit and European techno influences with 90s nostalgia and contemporary edge. A resident of the iconic FOLD since 2019, she has built a reputation for high-energy, narrative-driven sets that transport dancers on an odyssey from which they never want to return. Her production work has been met with growing acclaim, with releases on respected labels including Natural Selection, Ear To Ground, and Raw Quarter. In 2025, she released her second EP, Dark Matter (Rant & Rave), receiving strong support from industry titans such as Richie Hawtin, Dave Clarke and The Advent to name a few. Pleasurekraft return to Drumcode on remix duties after a 2 year hiatus with all engines on the Cosmic Techno ship firing.  Big-room atmospheric drums and an infectious call and response hook intertwine with Green Velvet's otherworldly vocals to produce a new highly visceral and steroid injected version of the original.  The "Space Date" remix marks the sixth collaboration between the seminal purveyors of the Cosmic Techno sub-genre, Pleasurekraft, and Chicago's iconic dance music pioneer Green Velvet. 

The remix initially came about after Drumcode head Adam Beyer heard Pleasurekraft's "Welcome to the Universe" EP [Kraftek] at the end of 2018.  A huge supporter of the Swedish/American production duo, Adam felt so inspired by the whole EP, especially "Main Sequence" that the opportunity for Pleasurekraft to take their love of all things space related lent itself naturally to the thematic elements in Green Velvet's vocals. 

The track's spine is built around a hypnotic groove that is anchored to a single word from the original's vocals : "ecstasy" and slowly builds to the first climax of the record where the listener finally hears Green Velvet's vocals in full for the first time.  However it isn't until the second break of the track that the power of the remix is finally unsheathed, resetting the groove and building up to a second swell featuring a duo of call and response melodies between the lead hook and a lower end bass that takes the intensity of the track up another notch - ultimately culminating in complete silence that gives way to the remix's original heartbeat and repeating mantra: "ecstasy". 

Taking over a month of studio time to complete, it was road tested for the first time at Pleasurekraft's Fabric London gig, where there was no shortage of inquiries as to the ID of the record.  This soon became a repeating theme after Adam Beyer first included it on DCR446 and played it during both of his Ultra Miami (Resistance) sets, including his closing b2b set with Maceo Plex who loved the track so much he proceeded to get his own copy and play it during his own solo set one week later at Time Warp in Germany.  

Multiple clips of the remix have already gone viral on various social media and blog outlets, with no shortage of fans waiting anxiously for the June 24 release date on Adam Beyer's own Drumcode Records. In Adam Beyer's own words, Pleasurekraft are "setting new standards" with their continued foray into the Cosmic Techno sub-genre they continue to define.

UK techno giant Perc is gearing up to release a remix EP for his gargantuan cut 'Look What Your Love Has Done To Me' off his 2017 album 'Bitter Music'. In addition to creating his own VIP mix of the seven-minute dancefloor epic, Perc has tapped I Hate Models and Amelie Lens to reinterpreted what remains the biggest-selling track in the history of the artist's Perc Trax imprint.

Ahead of the three-track release on July 26, Mixmag has acquired the latter of the three remixes for a premiere. The Belgian techno phenomenon keeps the track's core drums intact while adding a deep and seductive melodic touch that gives the umbrous techno slammer a fresh spectral feel.
