Midnight Swimming

Hi, 

  What I do fulltime is completely different to what I do here. What I do here, I do as a hobby - with having a complete Love of most Music, from Punk to the Classical Genre. 

  I am a self taught amateur Musician. I have had a complete passion for making Music since I was a teenager, having played in an Acoustic Punk Band (Toby's Red Sock) with 2 friends in the mid 80's. I purchased my first synth in 1993 along with some other hardware gear and have been writing, composing and recording compositions ever since. I have a vast collection of Synths, Drum Machines, and EFX units and buy and collect new Instruments as often as possible. 

  I do not have a studio setup as such, I just set gear up, which can be time consuming and sometimes a waste of time if I'm not happy with what I come up with. However, I never thought that what I create would ever be good enough to be heard outside my own four walls - thats until I discovered sound cloud. I'm very surprised with the response I have had from my compositions being heard - and I welcome all comments(either positive or negative) with Love and Respect for what you all share on here also. :c)

  My Music is Influenced mostly by Personal Feelings of Love, Hate, Happiness & Heartache. Other Influences Include This Mortal Coil, Nine Inch Nails, Boards Of Canada, Cindytalk, Massive Attack, Coil, Wire, Bauhaus, Sisters Of Mercy,  Joy Division and much much more.

PS: I now have side project that consists of myself & 3 friends. We get together now and again, drink lots of beer and attempt to cover our favourite songs. This takes place in a small cottage/caravan in The Highlands and used to sometimes be performed in Aberdeenshire. We don't have a band name as of yet but we have a Genre called Drunk Rock.
