This Looney Moon episode features a live set from JUMPSTREET that contains all the tracks from the new Jumpstreet album "Gourmet Noise". Jumpstreet is the psytrance project from Swiss producer Raffael Willi. Growing up playing musical instruments and composing tracks at an early age he finally found his way to electronic music production with no limits to creative musical expression. In 2015 he joined the Italian label Looney Moon Records and further progressed his unique style with releases like Low Extender EP and Buffer Boogie EP. His music is rich in variety of sound design while always keeping a funky vibe that keeps the dancefloor moving.

AJJA S.F. LEU is an eclectic and multi-talented Swiss artist who channels his creativity through parallel careers as musician/producer/dj, Peak Records label manager, graphic artist and tattoo artist. 

Born in London in 1975, AJJA grew up roaming the planet with his world-renowned family of tattoo-artists and travellers. Wandering across the world and bathed in various artistic scenes, he was provided with a constant creative drive. 

He started playing guitar when he was nine years old, and having been reared in a rock’n’roll and funk atmosphere, he first concentrated on these musical styles. By his mid-teens, he had composed, produced and recorded over one hundred original songs. He performed with a number of live bands in different countries and continued to create music and release rock albums for another decade. During this time, he also picked up the family trade and started tattooing alongside his parents and older brother Filip Leu. 

At the end of the nineties, his interest gradually shifted towards electronic music, causing him to explore new digital horizons. In 2002, AJJA and musician friends Master Margherita, Dymons and Flooting Grooves created The Peaking Goddess Collective, a chill & psytrance band that fuses live instruments and digital technology. After performing in many parties and festivals and releasing tracks on many compilations, their debut album “Organika” was released on Peak Records in August 2007. 

In the summer of 2003, AJJA, in collaboration with his partner, visual artist Tanina Munchkina and musicians Dj Gaspard and Master Margherita, founded the psychedelic trance label Peak Records. In only four years, the label has gained respect and a solid reputation in the psytrance scene, releasing many quality night-time and chill albums and compilations. The same year saw the birth of Yab Yum, the fully digital project shared by AJJA and Dj Gaspard. They have since released numerous tracks on world-renowned labels, and their debut album “Nocturnal Emissions”, released on Peak Records in December 2006, has been widely praised in the international psytrance scene. They have performed with growing success worldwide from Japan to the United States. 

In 2005, AJJA started a solo project under his own name. This digital live-act is primarily 144bpm-based, focusing on groovy, non-cheesy, psychedelic trance that could be played in the morning or in the middle of the night. Since then, AJJA has performed in numerous parties and festivals including the Soulclipse, Life, Gaian Mind, Wickerman, World People, Forgotten Ritual and Waveform Project festivals. His much appreciated live sets have already rocked & grooved dancefloors in Japan, The United States, Canada, Switzerland, France, Portugal, Germany, Austria, Italy, England, Ireland, Scotland and Turkey. In the coming months, AJJA will be performing both his new material and with Yab Yum in parties around the planet, including the famous Universo Paralello in Brazil. A mini-tour in Japan is planned for spring 2008. 

In 2007, AJJA released his first solo night-time track on Moonloop Records. This fall, he will have two more releases on the upcoming Peak Records compilation “Peak-a-Doodle-Doo” and on Northern Psylights Records. His debut album “PSYCHOGENICA” will be released in November 2007, on the newborn Irish label Syncronize Records. Not satisfied with so much activity, Ajja also composes music for theater plays, designs Peak Records covers with his partner Tanina Munchkina, and works as a tattoo artist in his family’s shop in Lausanne, Switzerland.

This live set by SAMADHI presents his new EP, Liquid, from the very beginning. It was recorded in the studio with real-time synthesizer improvisation layered on top. Samadhi, a pioneering psytrance artist from St. Petersburg (Believe Lab Records), has been DJing since 1996 and producing music since the early 2000s. His first releases appeared on De Ja Vu and Vertigo Records in 2004-2005. After touring Japan, he moved to Goa, India, performing extensively across Asia (Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Nepal, India) and Europe (Germany, Italy, France, Portugal, Spain, Poland, Finland, Norway, Austria, Slovakia, Turkey, Estonia, and more).  He has graced major festivals, including Ozora 2024, Boom 2022, Universo Paralello, VooV 2009, Kosmos, Existence 2012, Sonica, and Odyssey. Samadhi's discography features a split album with Fungus Funk (Blitz Studios) and tracks on renowned labels like T.I.P., Nano, Zero 1, Bom Shanka, Sangoma, Believe Lab, and Discovalley.  He’s remixed iconic tracks like Man With No Name – Teleport, X-Dream – Out of Control, and Pleiadians – I Believe and collaborated with top artists, including Tristan, Koxbox, Chromatone, Arjuna, and Parasense. Samadhi also explores music through side projects such as Chromadhi, Trippy Trail, Atlantis, and 108.

INGRAINED INSTINCTS is back on Sangoma Records series.

Ingrained Instincts is a unique and fresh project consisting of Tilemachos Vlachos and Dafy Deliangelos. They have shared the same passion for Psychedelic music since the very early days. They met in 2001 and formed a project together and started developing a different sound, but one totally sympathetic to the scene, and yet wholly psychedelic and funky! After many years of experimentation they created the Ingrained Instincts project. Their sound is an amalgamation of many variations, hard to categorise, definitely different and so fresh. This is one project you have to keep an ear out for, because before you know it you’ll be dancing away… Uncontrollably! It’s infectious.
Tilemachos Vlachos is a musician and producer with sound design and sound synthesis studies. He is also a member of the downtempo project Escape Velocity.

Dafy Deliangelos is a sound engineer and producer with music technology studies. Until recently he was involved in the Techno scene and has performed in several underground parties.

A frequent guest in Ingrained Instincts’ studio is Dimitris Theodoropoulos the other part of Escape Velocity.

His music can be described as a constantly evolving psychedelic bouncy sound with an unmistakable Parasect’s touch. He tries to draw influences from many electronic music genres, to bring, as much innovations as he can. Although he has been producing for just a short while, Parasect is now a well estabilished artist in the worldwide psychedelic trance sceen, playing every week end all around the world. He brings a new school concept, a modern and futuristic psychedelic trance music.

Tsubi has been an active member of the Hungarian psy scene since the 2000’s. He has been a resident DJ of the Avatar party series since the very beginning and also at O.Z.O.R.A. Festival, where he also plays a big role in program organizing and managing the festival’s web radio. In the past years he has played at all the noteworthy local psytrance events, in many European countries, and has also been invited to perform in Japan, India, Israel and Brazil. From the mega summer festivals besides O.Z.O.R.A. he has blasted the dancefloors of Boom, Sonica, Glade, Full Moon and S.U.N. festivals too.
More recently, he and Dr Space have launched their own party series, Labirhythm, presenting the artists and music that stand close to their heart to the Budapest audience.

As regards his style, Tsubi loves and is able to move among a really wide spectrum of sounds, he is relentless (and unwavering) in his search for the most contemporary soundscapes and the most unique tracks. With his two other projects, TSB and Tsu, his focus is on downtempo and techno, respectively.
