مقطوعة الموسيقى لامبادا Lambada والتي تشتق اسمها من أحد اساليب الرقص البرازيلية في ولاية "بارا Para" شمال البرازيل ,وقد طارت شهرتها عالميا بسبب اغنية حملت نفس الاسم "لامبادا" مستوحين الاسم من أسلوب الرقص البرازيلي وقامت بغنائها فرقة البوب الفرنسية "كاوما Kaoma" عام 1989 م ضمن شريط عنوانه "Worldbeat" ,,

الجدير بالذكر ان الموسيقى كانت معروفة قبل ذلك بسنوات في أميركا اللاتينية وسبق تأليفها وغنائها على يد الفرقة البوليفية الغنائية "لوس خاركاس Los Kjarkas" في عام 1981 م كان عنوان الأغنية ""Llorando se fue" وقد قامت الفرقة البوليفية برفع دعوى قضائية على منتج الأغنية الفرنسي عام 1990 م وقد كسب البوليفيون القضية وحصلوا على تعويض مالي كبير مع الاحتفاظ بحقوقهم في الأغنية واللحن ,,

شقت هذه الموسيقى طريقها الى الآذان العربية عبر استخدامها في عدة برامج تلفزيونية وافلام سينمائية متعددة منذ نهاية الثمانينات وحتى وقتنا الحالي ,
