Oh, that first major build around 4 minutes into the track!  So satisfying.  The first four minutes of ambience are so perfect -- the weaving, haunting melodies are utterly mesmerizing.  Love the transition around the 6-minute mark, too.  The cascading final two minutes!

Trivia:

Mommia was a brown pigment literally made by grinding down Egyptian mummies.

Carmine (Cochineal, E120) was used by the Aztecs and Incas and made by crushing beetles from the prickly pear cactus. Turner used it for brilliant reds despite warnings it would fade. Some of the greys in his paintings were once red. Since used in food and lipstick.

Lead white is a beautiful paint if you can get it and also bad evil toxic.

I close my POTENCIAL BIÓTICO album with this contemporary revival of a philosophical song I wrote 19 years ago when my grandpa died.

Could describe it as a requiem for guitar quartet, 2 voices, rhythmic base & church bell (you may know the piano version at https://soundcloud.com/esemanolain-ruizzo/sets/piano-sessions-2012 album).

A mostly slow piece with lotta soul and no artistic ambition (but a little ‘Pros&Cons’ air to the end ;).
