Hey folks! I've got a new project on the way, and along with (be) aphrodite, you're hearing the first of it! It will be finished within the next few months as I complete each piece while doing my summer classes. Progress will probably be a little slow, but hopefully quite regular -- about monthly releases is my aim! I'm doing things a bit differently this time and having a pre-order. Most of the tracks just need tweaks, a few are still being fleshed out, and I'm hoping quite a few will get at least simple PVs. The tracklist might even expand depending on what kind of time I have. We'll see what I'm capable of!

This track is inspired by a mixture of styles I've always enjoyed -- alternative R&B and trip-hop. I feel like I've gotten closer to doing some of the techniques I've always admired here better than I ever have before. I'm pretty proud of it, art, music, video, and all!

Also, I must mention, in the time since I posted last, I've bought Avanna and Dex! Songs with both of them will be upcoming, including this one. I hope you will be able to enjoy them!

Hey folks! This is a little song I made at the end of last year that had endlessly been on repeat in my brain for months prior, begging to be made. :'D It's kind of inspired by 2000s pop rock? The demo was even more so (and was kind of brighter), but I think it sounds much better and cooler this way. 

The art pieces were fun. I kind of just let my imagination run. I had a very different idea of what the art would be when I wrote it, but that rarely ever seems to be the case of what happens, huh! I think I like what happened better, because it's kind of awesome and expresses the emotions well. I hope you can enjoy it! Another step toward Bouquet of Wishes!!

Hey folks! I know its been a little while since I uploaded, and I actually still want to make a little more content for stuff from Bouquet of Wishes, but this had some inspiration that hit me stronger. 

For some reason, an industrial-inspired rock track came to me. It has been soooo long since I've explored this sound. Last time was probably emotions factory in 2019, huh? There might even be a small project that this will be connected to, but we'll see what kind of inspiration comes! There's a few other tracks I'm considering to be its siblings.

   I love working with distortiony synths and vocoder! (^w^) I think this may be one of my best works yet! It's rare for me to look at one of my tracks and not notice a billion-and-a-half issues with it. One of the only things that's at all negative for me about it is that it doesn't quite feel padded enough...(S.O.U.L. likes wet and paddy tracks ;w;) Anyway, I hope you enjoy it! ^w^

This is the first song I ever made with CYBER DIVA. ^^ I usually don't post the first thing that I make with any Vocaloid; but I actually kind of liked how this turned out, so I decided in favor of posting it. 

This song is probably the most conformant to the EDM genre that I've ever made (sometimes it feels like that's all CYBER DIVA wants to sing when I use her. ;w;) One of the only major issues that I had a bit of trouble fixing in this song were some mild distortion problems (I hope that they aren't too noticeable. o//o)

DEEPLANDS [Feat. Hatsune Miku English]

I had been listening to a lot of French Pop when I made this, and that influence kind of shines through. XD I even originally wanted to make the lyrics for this in French; but I hate how English VBs sing when attempting French phonemes, so that idea was nixed. ;w; It's nice to finally have something out there that contains all the Vocaloids I've ever used (It was also really fun to compose something for a trio ^^).

On this song I was trying to concentrate mostly on getting Cyber Diva to sound very emotive; thus my main concentrations were on the Vocaloid sequence and the melody. Ugh, finally got this thing out there! I've been delaying it week after week because stuff kept coming up in my life. ;w;;;;

I originally wanted to do like...a whole MV for this thing; (I even had like a storyboard and everything) but then I didn't have time...

This song is kind of different from the stuff I normally do. I made this when I was going through a really, really dark time back in December, when the last thing I wanted to make was something that sounded dark to pull me in further. The sound of the song and the lyrics aren't the most conducive thing, but I kind of like it. The mixing isn't exactly my ABSOLUTE best either, but it really helped me express what I was feeling then.

The song has kind of a Pop melody, with elements of Ambient music and EDM in the background.

Monstre De Rouge (Feat. ALYS) [ #VOCALYS1 ]

I first made this when I got a whole lot of new synths back in January and went absolutely nuts trying everything out. I made like...twenty songs in the period of about a month (And I'm pretty sure this was one the first things I did). It turned out being a kind of fun mix between dubstep and hardcore and it's one of my favorites from this period of my composing.

It features some Japanese (which I'm not 100% sure is perfect). I had a friend of mine who speaks a lot more Japanese than I do correct my original mistakes. If you still notice any errors, I thoroughly apologize. q-q

On top of everything it's my first MEIKO original since 'WILL'...which was like...almost a year ago...
so I'm happy I could put MEIKO back in a lead position! ^^

This collab has been in the works for quite a while now! Move-Forward has been awesome to work with and here we have the final result~

We both spent quite a bit of time fine-tuning every element of this so that it was the best we could make. I think we both learned quite a lot! 

Move did the fabulous Luka tuning and wrote the majority of the lyrics, Melon created this great art, and I made the electro beat and chord progressions. All together I think it turned out pretty nice! We really hope you enjoy it~

Hello everyone! I'd like to introduce you to the first track on the album I'm planning to be released in the (hopefully) near future. I've been planning this for a very long time and have been working to improve some of my tracks that I personally deem some of my best. By far, this is one of my favorites. It's been in the works for a little more than a year; and it means something very important to me.

Hello folks! So this is the first song from emotions factory whose video I'm going to share. I felt like the art and sound fit the aesthetic best out of what's to come. It plays around with some fun flashy effects I thought I'd try out at the time.

This song was made a few years ago out of a desire to pay homage to my original Vocaloid producer influences like YM, wowaka, hachi, and others. Without them, I don't think I would have ever even began producing music. I hope I was able to put an enjoyable twist on that sort of style~

Hey folks! I'm back with my second video for a song from my new album 'emotions factory'! I originally was going to release a song featuring Lily next (since I did a twitter poll, and she was most asked for), but since it was Meiko day I couldn't resist! 

I'm pretty proud of how the video turned out! The first version of this that I made was very colorful and awkward looking...so much so that I wanted to scrap it. ^.^;; But I pulled through and remade it, and it turned out quite decent to me -- specially around the choruses~ 

The song was heavily inspired by genres such as slowcore, and a bit of triphop mixed in there. I hope you enjoy it!

Alright! Here's the fourth PV for a song from 'emotions factory'!  This was one of my favorite songs that I was working on at the time, but also was one of the ones I was struggling with the most visually (ESPECIALLY where the PV was concerned...man I was struggling  with it for some reason). Luckily the art concept turned out pretty cool at least. It was so fun to design.

I was really inspired by a weird mix of like...reggae and industrial music while making this? It's kind of funky, but it was really fun to make!

I got some help from Brood with rendering Miku for this! He was super kind and offered to help me turn it into a duet! I feel really honored to be able to have a song with the two of them together. Miku and Luka are such a classic combo~ (Also pleeeeease, go check out Brood's stuff! Hey everyone! Here's another video from 'emotions factory'! This is definitely among my personal favorites of things I've produced. I was kind of angry one day and set out to make the harshest, most aggressive beat I could to get those feelings out. I struggled for a long time to make lyrics to suit it (because obviously those feelings subsided quickly) but I'm happy with the end result. It's a little wacky, but I hope you can enjoy it.

The PV was kind of a bit of a test. I wanted to see if I could animate something with the software and the knowledge I have, so I simplified my art style and made a bunch of quick drawings to try to put something together. It's far from polished, but it has inspired me to aim for slowly more ambitious animation projects in the future now that I know I can do it.

The music is heavily inspired by trap, "deconstructed club" music, and the PC Music scene.

Okay wow, so this is it! This is the last bit of 'emotions factory' content I have to share with you. This was a fun one to make. I felt really inspired by Shrines-era Purity Ring, so I tried to make something in their sort of fantasy chopped-and-screwed style with my own interpretation. I hope you can enjoy it!

The art was also soooooooo fun to make oh my goodness. I never realized how fun it was to draw snakes...especially rainbow colored ones! Might play around with that more hehe~

Happy Halloween! I know I'm a little early, but now was when I had time to put this out so I just went for it. Halloween is all month anyway, right? :)

I had made this really edgy, glossy pop instrumental a few months ago before school started back, and it had this vibe I had never gotten off my music before. It was kind of dark and seductive, so I went with this vampire concept that I had always felt MEIKO would fit. It's kind of a trashy pop song, but hey it's just for fun!

It was kind of fun making MEIKO sing something in more of a pop diva style. She fits it surprisingly well. I originally wanted to make a cooler PV for it, but I didn't have time. Maybe I'll revamp it in the years to come and make a cooler video alongside it.

Hey folks! I made a little disco-inspired tune this break that I thought I'd share. It kind of just came together one day as I was fiddling around in my DAW. It feels quite a bit different for me, and I'm still processing the fact that I made it (*coughs* why isn't it edgy and weird, Soul! Where's the edge! Where's the weird!)

Anyway, I tried to put a bit more effort into the PV than usual because I managed to have the time and the clarity of mind of what I wanted the video to look like. It's not perfect, but hopefully its a bit more of an experience than usual!

Hey there folks! So, this is my first video for a song off my new EP! I had this idea one day after having the opportunity to work with Sweet Ann's voice thanks to another project. I loved how she sounded so much that I finally took the plunge and bought her. I've always loved her and wanted to give her originals, and I thought that many different kinds of vintage-inspired sounds throughout time would certainly fit her. I hope to continue to make more songs in more styles of this variety!

This was the second song I ever made with her. It's my personal favorite of the bunch. I wouldn't say it matches Ann's range the absolute best, and it also required a bit more dynamics work than would allow her potential clarity to pop (from what I've seen by making other songs with her); however, I personally think it's the best song.

Hello folks! Here's the second PV from my new EP. It's not swing or jazz-oriented like most of the other tracks, but it's definitely one of my favorite pieces from it! I went into my workspace one day wanting to make a country ballad track, but came out with this wonky country rock piece with a bluesy tone that turned out well... maaaaybe a little edgy. It was really quite fun to make.

The PV...I think this is the most art I've ever made for a PV? The problem with country is that there's always a narrative, so I felt like for a PV I really had to try my hardest to tell the story with it. I just rolled with whatever art came out me. The art style turned out a little different for me. I wish I was a better editor to make it cooler as a whole but...I tried!

Hey folks! Here's another song and PV from my new EP! This one was actually my first Sweet Ann song ever, and thanks to RawBeansP (Robyn) who kindly rendered her for me, I was hooked and just had to buy her. 

My inspiration for this song was a mixture of villain theme-songs and swing-infused pop jams. I kind of melded them together and here we are. It's definitely my personal #2 from the project, though many who test-listened the songs for me's #1. :'D I really love the character designs that came out of it too. It was fun to try that sort of droopy-eyed, glossy old-cartoon style and fuse it with my own. I think this is my most carefully-crafted work with her. I initially thought it was going to be my only song with her ever, and I wanted it to be done the best that I could do!

Hey folks! This was a little song I made over summer that I never got around to releasing. I rediscovered an instrumental that I made at the start of getting off school that I had tossed aside; but, with a leap of faith, I finished it by the end of summer. It had a vibe about it that I honestly didn't know what to do with, so I just followed it's lead and ultimately made a song that was quite catchy and stuck in my memory. I'd been grappling over the last few months whether or not to release it because it honestly felt way out of my wheelhouse in content, but it sounded too good to let slide. 

The PV...went through several imaginings. I originally had some pretty ambitious ideas, but they didn't pan out. The song is also quite out of my range artistically -- I don't really do sultry characters too well unless its in a cartoony or eccentric way. I think I found a sort of balance? I'm pretty content with how it turned out!
