This is a cover of a song by an obscure Candadian artist by the name of Tonetta. It was recorded for a tribute album that my cousin and one of his friends put together for Worker Bee Records. I can't say I was familiar with Tonetta's music before being asked to be a part of this project, but I really enjoyed this song and had a lot of fun making it my own.

Stephen Quaranta has been creating strange and inventive music on the fringes of the Philadelphia music scene for over a decade. He currently performs in Professor Maybe, a collaboration with his wife, Claire. Prior to and briefly overlapping with his move to Philadelphia, he performed in the award winning avant garde ensemble, Zelda Pinwheel. More recently, Quaranta has fronted psychedelic folk collective, Paper Masques and melodic noise quartet, Language Problem, in addition to releasing his own basement recorded electronic music under his own name.  He has also played key roles in many other projects including Yellow Humphrey, Lockets, Langor, and Mikronesia's epic rock opera, Pangaea.
