Zeitgeber is the duo of Speedy J and Lucy. Both renowned techno artists in their own  right, they’ve teamed up together to create a spellbinding album of abstract electronics. As  the owner of Electric Deluxe, Speedy J has overseen one of modern techno’s finest  imprints. He was there at techno’s beginnings as a DJ and producer, and he continues to  stand at its avant-garde, pushing his artists and himself to continue to innovate.

The same  goes for Stroboscopic Artefacts head Lucy, whose young imprint has never failed to  impress in its ambition and output. Lucy has a clear vision of what he wants with his  imprint, and across the label’s three album releases you can see that it has been  achieved. Zeitgeber marks a new era for Stroboscopic Artefacts. Born, raised and currently residing in Leipzig, Vincent Neumann works as a psychotherapist during the day and as a dj by night. As one of the residents of Leipzig’s Distillery since 2012, he happily gets to share his passion for dance music regularly. The vibes during his dj-sets are often described as energetic, fast, enthusiastic and sometimes even relentless, without ever sacrificing taste or quality. For him, authenticity will always stand above fame, and if you witness one of his 10 hour closing sets at Berghain you will understand what the fuss is about.

Neighbourhood Podcast Volume 3 : DARLING FARAH

Monument 03 is out, and we are excited to bring you a really great and special mix from Vincent Neumann. Being a resident DJ at the Distillery (East Germany's oldest techno club) and a part wonderful Krill Music label this man knows his stuff. 

Vincent told us he had the idea for this mix a while ago, showcasing that techno isn't dependent on varying tempos to showcase different feelings. ”So basically the tempo is constantly at 130bpm (my favourite tempo in the world) and I tried to show with different tracks and grooves how one tempo can still contain a lot of different feelings and emotions. Also, I had to use a corny Black Metal intro because Norway, you know?“.

Outside the clubbing and techno bubble he just finished a diploma thesis in psychology (Congratulations). If you want to catch Vincent playing check out Distillery, Westwerk, Elipamanoke and Sweat. He will also be back on the legendary Tresor club soon, so keep your eyes open for an epic night of pure beauty when it comes to the sounds of Techno!
