Another Code - Collapse Manifesto EP [Bruto Industries // BRT012]

Another Code is the result of the union between Arusa and Devil's Day, and on this occasion they present their first EP, Collapse Manifiesto, a collection of rebellious sounds that show their vision of today's world through fragments of interviews that give visibility to a resistance that opposes the decadence and oppression of a system that has lost the values of humanity and solidarity.

Four EBM and industrial tracks with solid bass lines, powerful rhythms, and aggressive vocals, aimed at the dance floor for lovers of the most authentic industrial sound, as well as new generations in search of alternative electronic music that is not governed by fads or trends.

Dan Böhler is once again responsible for the mastering, and all the visual material accompanying this release is the work of Lucas Salinas.

Stargate is the handle for one Lorenzo Senni, and he makes a kind of shimmering, sludged and epic hybrid that sounds somewhere between Hype Williams, a narcotic variant of AraabMuzik and slowed down, inverted Trance. Lorenzo falls in line with the subversive aesthetics of James Ferraro and Hype Williams as well and starts off more or less where Daniel 'Oneohtrix' Lopatin left his KGB Man alias with Ian Van Dahl's 'Castles In The Sky', "...something in between pre-sleep Tetris Effect and Trance music in slowmotion: gated soft synth arpeggios smoothly modulate towards brutal supersawed patterns, disintegrating into ecstatic vocals." First cut 'Born 2 Love' goes deeep, locking us below slow, shallow waves of arpeggio, Eddy Current's wailing axe and an emo G-beat, while 'Dawn Of The Cryogenics' gradually calibrates noise scrawl with submerged yacht bliss dynamics, leaving 'Driving Hyperreality' on a spiralling ascension to new levels of R&B melancholy.
