From his early gigs throwing parties as one of the first generation DJs in lasi since 1997, ARH continues to break boundaries as part of the Romanian resistance scene and numerous time portals as they open around Europe. His blistering, mind-bending sets such as at Berlin’s Tresor, Griessmuehle or Krake Festival see the DJ with the red hand fuse pure Detroit sound with electro, techno, acid, EBM, industrial, classics and futuristic beats. His mixes for Radio UR (Underground Resistance), The Grid (Detroit Techno Militia), Groove Magazin or Trax Magazine remain some of the best frequency transmissions to surface to air.

Armed with a Soviet Union reel to reel Majak 203, his scorching raw analogue and searing acid electro or techno productions have been picked up by foundational Detroit labels such as Twilight 76, Matrix, Detroit Underground, Databass, Detroit Techno Militia, Cratesavers Intl, Visillusion as well as around the world from Holland's iconic M>O>S Recordings to Lobster Theremin, Chiwax, 1Ø Pills Mate, Bass Agenda, Land Of Dance and more. Wait, what? A new Quince? Call the newspapers! It has been YEARS since the Dutch techno producer from Utrecht found the peace of mind to actually release something. In fact, the Anthology of Interest EP on the illustrious NOWHERE series is his first proper record in eight years. His daytime job as a medic kept him rather occupied. You might remember those times when there was a pandemic around?

We missed Quince, even though his sound is rather timeless. Fluid Detroit infused techno with pulsating rhythms, alluring keyboard stabs and sultry basslines, like on Ghost In The Machine and the extremely funky The Butterjunk Effect.

Opening track Meanwhile has that hazy peak time feel you love so much while dancing with your eyes closed. But the winner of this very versatile EP may just be Space Pilot 3000. A futuristic and jumpy electro-track where the worlds of Drexciya and Juan Atkins collide in a blinding orange supernova. Can someone call a doctor!

Playing a mix of US, European and UK techno since way back in the 90's, London-based Pat Hurley got his first gigs with People 4 People sound system and gone on to play for Unsound, Shtonka, Hardware, The Satellite club, Insanity, Defcom 1, Pendulum, Parallel Youniversity, Megatripolis, Analogue City, Absolute, Redeye, E1 sound, One Louder, Uber, Mindscapes, Techno in the City, Fabric, KSS, Family Groove, Butterfly Effect, Electronic 17, Resonate and Futurist, as well as co-promoting events such as Solution, Beyond and pistonTec.

He’s also played all around the UK including the Glastonbury festival and abroad in France, Holland, Italy, Spain and Japan.

He runs the Open Source record label, on which he releases his own productions as well as tracks from artists such as Mike Humphries, Jeff Amadeus, Maxx Rossi, Sunil Sharpe, Tearz, Sebastien Marx, MUtaTe & DistoRt and Fabulous 23s.

He presents the Wired Radio Show on the last Saturday of every month 5pm - 7pm on Reelrebelsradio  and also Open Source Sessions which is another monthly on Fnoob Techno Radio.
