if you liked my more chill dnb stuff(glacial space, dust volcano, the non dubstep parts of underworld), i hope you enjoy this one because it's pretty much more of it despite me very much not being proud of this song at all

between the start of uni, my love life, life in general, i've been in a bit of a limbo when it comes to this project and everything i've worked towards

i'm finally studying music formally !!!1! which means i plan on making this my career, and well, that means i've been pretty damn busy

either way, i'm still baffled by the fact that there are still 1000 plays constantly going around my account, every week, even when i don't post music or show any signs of life whatsoever

thank you all, thank you for making me believe in myself, for making me feel like i have something that's worth showing. I still can't believe 2000 people want to keep up with what i create, 2000 people clicked that follow button because my music meant something to them

so anyway, to somewhat make it up to yall, here's this ambient piece i wrote, using some recordings i got with my tascam n all that

5th track from my still still upcoming EP "HIRAETH" (it's close)

technically this might be the second finished version (or maybe even the third), the first one was nearing completion around the time luv u released but at some point i realised that i'm not happy with it in the slightest and that it does not have any redeemable qualities, it took me making one new part of the song (one you can hear at 2:59) to start replacing and rearranging other ones one by one until pretty much none that were present initially remained.

this is a prime example of sunk-cost fallacy, a good chunk of the driving force that made me want to finish this one came from the fact that i didn't want all the effort i've already put into it go to waste. in the end i'm not even sure if i'm entirely satisfied with the results, i feel like it sounds like a collection of ideas rather than a cohesive song. however i'm happy with how they sound individually, and i think this showcases some sides of my music that weren't present in my previous releases, so maybe it's not so bad, i hope you can enjoy it!
