Hello All !!! 

When you are doing a mix , sometimes two tracks played in the same time make something new, something beautifull. That's what happened when I made my recent mix for Yuksek's Dance O Drome on Radio Nova. 

The Mike Dunn classic gives rawness and energy to the beautifull emotion of the Jascha Hagen track. I cannot now listen the first without the second one and vice and versa. So I have done a proper edit of this mashup. 

So, I wanted to share this edit of mine with my fellow followers.

Bouncy and feverish, this MLF remix effectively takes up the gimmicks of Enflure's original track, starting with its tubular bass, a real auditory signature. Finely embellished with a superposition of industrial sound effects, this cover reinforces the vitaminized and robotic aspect of Discoteca 2044, which now seems to enter the second half of the 21st century. More stripped down in its instrumental dressing, this version interweaves ethereal, almost mechanical samples in an exhilarating, digital atmosphere. Highly delayed pianos occasionally pop up, lending dance accents to its ascents. The sizzling, synthetic sounds that punctuate the listening experience reinforce our immersion, as do the 16-bit glitchy hats.

As we were afraid that the movement would run out of steam, we thought of a compilation whose profits would be donated to the strike funds.

Beyond the financial help, the objective of this compilation is above all to keep the flame alive, to remotivate the people and to bring support to the strikers.

Last Wednesday, in a hurry, we proposed to DÔME artists to compose tracks from speeches and popular protest songs, so that they could accompany Vulve Assassine and Dalle Béton on Thursday's strike and the following ones!

Following the lost of our sweet raver and Astropolis co-founder Matthieu, we hesitated to release this compilation, but the situation is urgent and we are sure that these great edits would have amused Matthieu a lot.

So here is a 5-track compilation, featuring what we hear and shout every week in the street in a dance version, hence the name "Manif Hits".

S.R. gives us the urge to revolt with "Metro, Boulot, Caveau", Jonfaustus delivers a terribly effective electroclash version of "Les jeunes dans la galère, les vieux dans la misère...", René Danger and the students of the Beaux Arts du Mans on the chorus unite in a Steve Reich / clapping style, Swing Loww underlines the lack of empathy of the leaders, and Blutch covers "à cause de Macron" of the feminist collective Les Rosies in a disco/house way.

Andres Klein alias Ackermann hails from beautiful Stuttgart and has been in the music producing biz for about 20 years. He's been running is own imprint Traktor records for a long time, churning out House, Techhouse, Techno and anything in between.
His tune „I Got My Man“ got remixed by italian Mattia Borriello aka M.I.T.A. for Marco Faraone's Uncage label. This tune got heavy play by quite a few A-list Techno DJs around the globe, one of them Answer Code Request who couldn't stop dropping that diva drama belter in his sets in „The Big House“ in East Berlin.
That's where it caught All That Jelly label head Mr. Fonk's ear and so it had to get pressed on hot waxxx!
The 12“ is accompanied by two equally cheerful Techno slammers with a groovy House edge. You're gonna love 'em!
