I've been friends with Fat Tony for a few years but we never worked on music until recently, when we got up at Rubber Tracks studio in Brooklyn to work on a song for my album <i>Smoke Machine</i>. The SVU storytelling joint "I'll Bee Dat" is the result... it's too spooky for the vibe of my LP but perfect for Halloween, so enjoy (and don't talk to strangers).

Over the last decade Jazzanova has grown a reputation for their studio productions, their remixes and their dj sets all over the world. 
After their second album the 5 dj's and producers decided that it was about time to perform their music on stage as well. Now.. three years later, Jazzanova have played together with their live band and Paul Randolph far over 100 shows around the globe.

Why not connect both sides: hosting a recording session of their live show at the legendary Funkhaus Studios, Berlin? The result is the studio live album "Funkhaus Studio Sessions" with new live versions of Jazzanova classics like "No Use", "Fedimes Flight" or "I Can See" and live reworks of some of their remixes for Fat Freddys Drop, Paul Randolph and Shaun Escofferey plus the very first recording of “I Human”, their fantastic soulful new theme-song – a statement with different meanings to different listeners.

The track features the mesmerizing vocal delivery by Detroit singer/musician Paul Randolph. In his words, "I Human" is a statement of the feeling you have when you create music and interact with people in an one-on-one and personal live situation, instead of ambivalent text messages and e-mails. And that's what you can hear in this wonderful piece of live recorded music. Uplifting, life affirming, soul soothing and yes, human!

12inch will be released end of February.

The album "Funkhaus Studio Sessions" will be released in May 2012.

"Cream Dream is Teddy Ouwerkerk, a Long Island based designer and producer with a flair for combining disco, soul, and funk circa 1970 with house and contemporary beat-making. Cream Dream: Collected gathers his first three self-released EPs, issued prior to the release of his free-to-download debut album Love Letter; the Paradiso and Total Babe EPs, as well as his mixtape Spliffy Beats vol. 1 and two muggy bonus tracks from the same period. It's the first such compilation of his prior work, but it turned out too well and the tape's way too good looking for it to be our last."
