We're thrilled to share our upcoming release, titled 'Flame Of The Pinecone' the 1st single of the upcoming album by the very talented Saxophonist, electronic producer and an established member of the Camel Riders family - ITAI, incl. remixes by Spaniol, Makossa, Deer Jade.
ITAI's splendid original exhibits a hypnotising atmosphere, created by a pounding swirling base-line, fused with heart-warming Guitar riffs, trippy vocal fragments, extremely pleasant woody sounds and glorious saxophone melodies which collide into a fascinating tale full of light and darkness. On remix duty, 1st we have the honor to have back Spaniol on our label with his with his Micro House-ish agitated interpretation full of Jazzy vibes. 2nd we have the pleasure to welcome to Camel Riders the Italian producer Makossa which crafted a bubbling and obscure exquisite version for the original, that will make you feel like you're in the middle of a lucid dream. Last but not least, we are thrilled to welcome Deer Jade to Camel Riders with her warm interpretation for ITAI's 'Flame Of The Pine Cone', displaying a melancholic yet cheerful base-line with groovy spiral sounds and outstanding synth riffs blended with the original's divine organic elements.
Here are some words by ITAI about the inspiration behind his wonderful original. "Flame of the Pinecone" was born on a stormy weekend in Idyllwild, with my partner, Wancy. In the midst of high December winds and a 24-hour power outage, we took a spiritual journey in a tiny cabin in the woods. On this dark, cold night in the mountains, we warmed ourselves by a small fire and, one by one, began adding giant California Coulter pinecones to the swirling flames. Watching these glorious cones burn was a whole journey on its own. As I stared into the fire, I began to sense the silhouette of a flamenco dancer emerging, and I was mesmerised. This image carried me home to Joshua Tree, where I immediately went to the studio and turned the vision into music - the track that is now "Flame of the Pinecone", the first single of the soon-to-be-released album "A Trip to Idyllwild."

First, we're thrilled to welcome the beloved Spaniol which serves a beautiful interpretation that just keeps evolving and takes the listener on a journey.
Next is Nato who makes his debut on our label with a psychedelic deep downtempo version that emphasises the spiritual vibe of the original. 3rd is another new friend in our family - Alex Twin who brings a top-notch progressive and groovy rhythm that creates an enlightening feeling.
Next, we are welcoming the TLV-based duo - The Angles, who is pitching a pumping Latin-House touch with lots of percussions and great energy.
Last but not least, Seel who's coming back with a trippy version full of field recordings and end excellent electronica.

Taking over with their much anticipated debut on A Tribe Called Kotori, RAMMÖ and Spaniol are at it again on their second collaborative project, 'Pegasi Cinqo'. Respectively based out of the South of France and New York, Rammö & Spaniol are that power unit of talents that causes sparks to fly. Infused with both their own personal backgrounds and origins - one having roots in Spain, the other in Brazil, this first instalment from the duo on our platform oozes with that Latin warmth at heart and groovy suavity that simply can't leave one cold. Inspired by their performance at the Polygon stage during last year's edition of Wonderfruit festival in Thailand -- a very special stage complete with a 360-degree sound system and bespoke light works -- which left a durable impression on them, Rammö and Spaniol were inspired to try and reignite these sentiments into actual compositions that translate both the nostalgic elation and bliss felt in this moment in time. Now for everyone to enjoy.

Both fruits of the same palette, 'Quinta Vida' and 'Pegasi Leque' share instrumental similarities, especially in the use of the flamenco-style guitars, which as the duo underlines serve as a unifying element. A forward-moving, hip-shaking roller, 'Quinta Vida' blazes with the vibrant colors that innervate their tracks and mutual feelings of love and respect Rammö and Spaniol have for one another both as artists and friends. Nimbly walking the tightrope between Andalusian hedonism and loungey house vibrations on a silky balearic tip, it's an elegantly woven, after-ready flower of sound that blooms with every bar. More of a tinted, sensual weapon for the in-between hours, 'Pegasi Leque' reels out a dynamic train-like chug associated with Spanish guitar riffs and FX-drenched syncopations. Like the nocturnal match to 'Quinta Vida' and its heavenly solar ambience, this one casts a spell of night-loving eroticism with its nearly whispered vocal part enticing us down the path of lace-clad fleshliness. Steamy business.

As the creator and resident of Colectivo Sonido Trópico of São Paulo, @s_paniol is a staple of his city’s local scene. The collective’s transcendental parties have brought the likes of Rampue, Oceanvs Orientalus, Xique Xique, Holger Hecler, and more to the city center while also traversing the world from Tulum to Tokyo. As a lifelong musician, Spaniol’s introduction to electronic music evolved from a background in classical guitar and flute as something of a “happy accident” whilst in his teens. Good thing for us though, as this current sound draws from all that surrounds him and has been featured on labels like Sol Selectas while gracing the stages at Katerblau, Sysifos, Heart Ibiza, De Martkantine and Public Works amongst others.

With elements of Classical, flashes of Brazilian Pop, Jazz, Samba, Caimbó, combined with both analog and didital percussion, the sounds of Spaniol are narrative, edgy, and undeniably energetic
