Starting his career in techno, he quickly rose through the ranks, performing at I LOVE TECHNO Festival in Montpellier alongside luminaries like Tale of Us, Anfisa Letyago, and Âme. Now, with over two years of residency at Why Not? in Zanzibar, he has shared the decks with leading artists, including a historic 4-hour b2b with Liquid Earth. Following a break in our mix series after what can only be described as very a strange year for everyone, we were blown away by this amazing mix of house and techno. Never breaking his groove, @northsouthrecords boss and very much a big part of the Gottwood family after years of service and also recently releasing his track "Fun Dome" on our Gottwax label, @sambangura delivers in a big way!

Explaining his thinking behind the recording, Sam explains "Seeing as we couldn’t enjoy the magic of Gottwood this year I wanted to bring some of it to everyone through this mix. Imagining the sun shining next to the lake as day turns to night, I hope this goes some way to recreating that!"
