Kasia w nowym świecie post-pandemicznym stała się jedną z ulubionych krakowskich DJek. Napisała o tym podkaście jakieś straszne farmazony, więc postanowiliśmy sami ją zapowiedzieć. Z dumą prezentujemy naszą Rezydentkę przez duże "R" - Outta_8

outta_8 rezydująca w  Krakowie producenta i dj-ka. Krążą pogłoski, że pochodzi z ósmej planety Układu Słonecznego, a na Ziemię trafiła przypadkowo wsiadając do Voyagera 2 w 1988 roku. Posiada własny pokój, trzy gwinnee oraz sporo dziwnych generatorów okresowych przebiegów  do komunikacji z najdalszymi zakątkami kosmosu. Lubi określać się jako wolny elektron niezwiązany z konkretnym gatunkiem elektroniki. Oscyluje swobodnie wokół brzmień drapieżniejszego techno, swingującego electro, starego industrialu, dark disco czy lo-fi house. Nie wierzy w constans i 5-dniowy tydzień pracy, za to wierzy w nadchodzący upadek ziemskiego patriarchatu i tęczowe jednorożce (podobno występują na Neptunie). Dzięki wrodzonej umiejętności  do bycia perfekcyjną prokrastynatorką wciąż musimy jeszcze poczekać na jej pierwszy longplay. Podobno wstępna data to 808 rok po naszej erze.

outta_8 is a producer and DJ based in Krakow. It is rumored that she hails from the eighth planet of the solar system, and came to Earth by accident when boarding Voyager 2 in 1988. She has the room of her own, three guineas and a lot of strange periodic waveform generators to communicate with the farthest corners of space. She likes to describe herself as a free electron unrelated to any specific electronic music genre. She oscillates freely around the sounds of more predatory techno, swinging electro, old industrial, dark disco or lo-fi house. She does not believe in constans and the 5-day work week system, but strongly believes in the impending collapse of earthly patriarchy and rainbow unicorns (reportedly found on Neptune). Thanks to her innate ability to be the perfect procrastinator, we still have to wait for her first LP. Supposedly, the estimated release date is 808 year After Common Era.

INVERNO (no pronouns) means winter in Portuguese, but their performances and productions are far from being cold and static.
Their multifaceted knowledge of music is reflected in their sets, which are enigmatic, genre-fluid and creative. As well as in their playful and genre-panning productions.
Eager to experiment and explore the full spectrum of Techno, INVERNO likes to blend boundaries between deep/hypnotic and hard/industrial Techno.
Having a natural understanding for groove and harmonies, they weave together tracks focusing on story-telling and rhythm.
INVERNO is the head of KLEM, an experimental label about Ambient, Lofi and Techno.
They contributed to several VA compilations with Ambient and Industrial Techno tracks.
In 2019, INVERNO founded BLVSH collective, whose mission is to grow the exposure,
peer support and promotion of FLINTA* talents.
Mentioned in the “Newcomers list for 2023” of Groove Mag Germany, INVERNO recently played in TRESOR, Renate and OXI club, to name a few.

Gabi Bury to Djk'a i promotorka pochodząca z Bieszczad, obecnie mieszkająca w Krakowie. Jest członkinią kolektywu Technosphere oraz inicjatorką projektu Fantasmagoria. Swobodnie oscyluje wokół głębokiego i mrocznego hypnotic techno, choć w jej setach nie brakuje elementów zaskoczenia o energicznym groove. Do tej pory swoją selekcją dzieliła się między innymi w takich klubach jak Szpitalna 1, STK47, Święta Krowa czy Sekta Selekta.

Rom Almagro, Buenos Aires, Argentina. In 2018, Russ began his career as a DJ gradually getting into the local Argentine scene, exploring various styles, until finally finding the greatest expression of himself as an artist in Techno! 

The effort and perseverance of this young artist, led him to share a booth with great national artists with great worldwide recognition such as Xhei, Kølpøs, YYYY, Eduardo Criado, Farceb, NWHR, Mariano DC, among others, and on stages such as Bahrein, Culto, Under Club as for name a few. 

Russ is not satisfied with just finding his sound when making a DJ set, and decides to slowly enter the world of production and sound design in Ableton, leading him to have his first release with Cristian Varela on the London label Emphatic Records , thus driving his career to a great growth and recognition of great artists who have supported his music such as Arnaud Le Texier, Ian Axide, Dave Clarke, A Thousand Details, Pwcca, Casual Tratment, Vertical Spectrum.

elektrabel symbolizes the true ethos of techno in its constant shifting of dark sonic purity while maintaining a danceable tempo.

Tomas Hartl, aka Elektrabel, is not afraid to admit that he is following the vision of the best underground techno records he grew up with in the 90s. Back then, the producers were all about expanding the sonic possibilities while maintaining the concept of the final record being mainly a kind of club weapon for DJs.
The combination of dark piercing sounds, hard beats and atmospheric depths is a basic tool that still works today. This seemingly simple approach carries throughout Elektrabel's discography: he alternates dense techno tracks on singles with sonic and rhythmic experiments on albums, such as the successful MISSING trilogy. 
The same is true in his live performances.

Jeff Mills, who became a key figure in Elektrabel's career, recognized that this is not a mediocre production. Mills' lifelong fascination with the universe and his discoveries at the level of galaxies, stars, black holes and planets, were imprinted in the philosophy of his 6277 label, whose sonic mission was to be an expedition to Mars. His debut release on the label was the 2003 vinyl MISSION ONE, backed by Elektrabel, who had danced to Jeff Mills at Bratislava's popular U.Club just a few years before. In one of the interviews Jeff Mills talked about how Elektrabel's tracks were special because they contained frequencies he hadn't heard before. That's why it was interesting to start releasing Elektrabel's work. 

The following single, CROCKS, heralded the release of his first album FOR VARIOUS REASONS, which opened the doors to clubs and festivals worldwide for him. 

Elektrabel performs primarily his live techno act. He's constantly refining his set-up, whether expanding or minimizing it, with the simple aim of bringing his studio and sounds straight to the stage for the audience to enjoy.

Born in Poland, currently residing in Berlin, Pawel is a passionate collector of vinyl records. He's been present on stage for more than a decade now, for many years associated with Wrocław's @striktlabel and with Szczecin's The Other Way project. In his sets, he combines the sound of Detroit with the raw atmosphere of Berlin, creating an unique blend of various music genres.
