The guests of the 78th episode of the “ethereal mixes” series are participants of the Otvaal project - Vlad Stepanov and Dmitry Gudnichev.

In December 2023, the musicians released a full-length album “Khorovod”, in the creation of which Ilia Mazo, Ushko, Synecdoche Montauk, Varya Kraminova (Khadn dadn), RICAAI, vyaliyy, Artyom Lasta (ex. Metel) and Iskander Yerimbetov (Sozvezdie Otrezok) took part.

This new single from Paita and Who Is Folia? has started as a demo and then evolved into a complete project, shaped by the signature sound of both artists. This is classic ephemeral pop with a dance coda, which can easily serve as the opener of a big room dj-set, or conditionally divided into semantic parts to serve both for private listening with the headphones on and also for the dance floor.

The lyrics of the release are unusual, unpretentious, hard to grasp in terms of meaning, but not devoid of it. The single also comes with a remix from FMSAO, turning the original sound into an even deeper trip, while not lacking a clear rhythmic pulsation. But emotions here mutate along the original vector becoming even more vague and abstract.

Yana Kedrina aka Kedr Livanskiy gave an interview and recorded a mix for ethereal grooves.

The artist talked about the creation of the new album "Myrtus Myth" and the magic of working together with Flaty. We also talked about the eras of her work, poetry, the importance of release covers and other topics.

On March 7, Yana released the album "Myrtus Myth" on the 2MR label, and in 2023, the EP "K-Notes" and the longplay of the joint project with Flaty "Kosogor".
