"K.K. Lovers" is a K.K. Slider song in Animal Crossing: New Horizons introduced in the 2.0 Free Update. It is based upon lovers rock, a subgenre of reggae known for its romantic tone and influence from soul music, which was cultivated by the London reggae scene in the 1970s.

Hey everyone, here is a remix that I created from scratch in Apple Logic Pro X of the well known 4AM theme in Animal Crossing: New Leaf. This track is very mysterious so I decided to give it a very light and airy feel.

I recently purchased a violin library so I thought I should include it in this track.

My inspiration here was just "underwater", so I went the obvious route of reverb and muted piano, to give that feeling of being underwater. Fun fact: I used two pianos to keep the chords muted, but the melody clear. Also, I think the clarity of the bells and the muted piano create a wonderful contrast.
People say this ended up sounding like a modern gymnopedie, though I don't think Satie's famous works had bells...
