It goes without saying that Sabrina Lawrie has been a fundamental part of the Brisbane music scene, dubbed Queen of the Underground in her formative years, she's done her time in the trenches and behind the scenes, running venues, booking events, slinging cotton, driving rock stars and now she is finally where she belongs, performing, producing, recording and releasing her vast catalogue of music.
In early 2016, she suffered a monumental injury that saw her embark on a healing journey as she recovered from a near-fatal fall from a balcony that broke her back. Her debut album 'Hush The Mountain' explored these experiences.  She went on to release two more singles 'Nopiates' (2019), an electronic ballad reflecting on recovery and addiction and the challenges of being funnelled through the pharmaceutical industry and then 'Dreamstate' (2021), a hard hitting rock song about sexual expression.
She has also had the pleasure of working with renowned producers Konstantin Kersting (Tones & I), Oscar Dawson (Holy Holy), Howie Weinberg (Bjork/Prince/Nirvana) and Jeff Lovejoy (Powderfinger, The Cruel Sea).
Sabrina has shared Festivals and stages with acts including Hoodoo Gurus, The Black Angels, Strawberry Alarm Clock, Spencer P Jones, Troy Cassar-Daley, Nick Oliveri, Dead Meadow, Def FX, Sarah Mcleod, Spindrift, Abbe May and many many more.   
Also a producer in her own right, Sabrina has recorded, produced and mixed a number of other acts including QLD folk singer Leonie Kingdom with her song ‘Rhubarb’ which made it to #1 on the Triple J Unearthed charts and also co-produced, recorded and mixed  the first single for Brisbane punk riot trio Blussh called ‘Girl Like You’ in 2019.
Sabrina’s second full length album is due for release in 2025, again, a reflection on her life experiences, caring for a terminally ill partner which she lost in 2021 and the mental health impacts that came along with that whilst navigating the covid isolation and injustices that brought along  with it.
