This is my first mixtape of 2022. It's been a while since I got back behind the decks and thought I'd set myself a different kind of challenge of playing every song in a different key than it was originally produced. I tried to fuse in catchy eastern melodies with punchy hard base. It was a lot of fun mixing songs by these amazing artists. All rights and respect reserved to them!

ps: I'm absolutely in love with the music from Alvaro Suarez, whose music I've discovered recently. Its been a long while since I felt that excitement (since Viken Arman!)

Mono Stereo Session 10

On 26-03-22 the BNE Tune Crew ran our fourth event to raise money for One Vision Productions, a charity providing arts to disadvantaged youth across Australia. Based in the Northern Rivers, due to the recent flooding the funds raised were to be put towards recovery efforts in the local area.

With lockdowns a thing of the past, we took the opportunity join together across two parties in Melbourne and Sydney for 13+ hours of music. I paired up with local maestro @dj_ayekay to play a 3 hour b2b session from midday into the afternoon. Uploading it on Soundcloud now.

It was tremendous fun, and I learnt so much from this guy! Can't wait to repeat it all over again.

Tune Crew Takeover 4 - Melodic Midday Sessions with Sabutai & Ayekay

This Friday the 13th of May, my friends and I got together to play our first live venue gig to raise funds for ARC - Animal Rescue Cooperative. We invited all our friends along, had nearly a 100 people show up in support, which was the best thing we could have asked for. With over 6 hours of music and in the company of such talents, I was blessed to play from 11pm to 12 am with the crew :)

Between August and October Relief will be broadcasting DJs and producers from across Australia and beyond. The format will see 1 - 2 artists perform sessions from the comfort of their homes each fortnight, experimenting with different styles, forgotten gems and their favourite tracks.

We're performing to raise money for Greater Giving Sri Lanka, who are providing basic meals and other aid to Sri Lankan families and communities. With a day's worth of food only costing approx. $5 AUD, even a small donation can go a long way to supporting those in need.
