Его отец был рыбаком, а мать - известным в Швеции химиком. Тяга к риску, новым ощущениям и экспериментам сплелись с врождённой силой воли Карла Марселя. 

 В свои неполные 17 лет он совершил свою первую кругосветку - на велосипеде. С этого путешествия начинается новая жизнь Карла — путешественника-авантюриста. Он пересекал верхом на лошади степи Центральной Азии: от Казахстана до Узбекистана, совершил пеший переход от Сибири до Индии, но основной страстью Карла Марселя оставалось суровое Северное море. Пилот свободного аэростата и капитан дальнего плавания, он совершил два кругосветных плавания, пересёк Северное море в одиночку, а также совершил лыжный переход в полярную ночь к Полюсу относительной недоступности в Северном Ледовитом океане в составе экспедиции. 

В своих путешествиях он никогда не использует специальное, современное, техническое оснащение и передвигается абсолютно автономно.

В то время, которое Карл Марсель не путешествует, он посвящает себя музыке, в которой погружает нас в свои ощущения от его опасных путешествий, рассказывает о своём опыте и открытиях, предпочитая работать в труднодоступных для людей местах: в своём уединенном доме в северной части норвежских фьордов, или же в горной части Сибири…

My very  first album , Resona, is a sonic journey through different resonances. Fully recorded in Guadalajara, Resona is the combination of brass with jazz and electronic influences. 

Over the past two years, i'v visited Guadalajara seven times to record different types of sounds and vibration. From the mystical trombon, to the edgy trumpet, and the low frequency Tuba as well as vocals and drums, Maga mixed these different sounds with an electronic edge. 

The objective was to create an easy listening album that would touch multiple generations and ethnicities.
