Storming his way back onto Drumcode Luigi Madonna closes off the Summer with a four track smasher that will see him welcome in Autumn with a bang. Each track contains the solid, raw drums that are the backbone to each track Luigi has conjured up. With a brooding undertone, the simplicity found in each track gives the lead lines and ideas more space to breath, which overall creates a unique and charismatic submission that can only be found from the Italian.

British producer wAFF has been making waves in recent years, reflecting on a diligent 2015 spent playing across the likes of Europe, Africa, Asia and the States, when not making routine appearances at Paradise, Ibiza. As a producer he’s dropped several lauded releases on Jamie Jones’ Hot Creations imprint, not to mention Matthias Tanzmann’s Moon Harbour and Sven Väth’s Cocoon, with his next outing landing on renowned Swedish label Drumcode run by techno titan Adam Beyer.

Laying down hard hitting kicks from the off, ‘Holographic’ churns out an undulating synth combined with shuffling hats and a cavernous low-end, before ‘VibrationZ’ employs a low-slung groove fashioned from a sultry bassline, floating chords and sinister vocal. Tying it together, ‘Syncronistic’ is on a more heads down tip with whirring atmospherics, crunchy snares and subtle 303 squelches for a lengthy and mesmerising piece of production.

Victor Ruiz has been riding high on the crest of a wave with remixing Luzon - Baguio Track to great acclaim, to appearing on Herblut, Electric Ballroom and Sprout.

D-Nox again is causing a major fuss with his productions (both solo and working with studio partner Beckers) on Suara, Tronic and his own Sprout imprint to name just a few, and the D-Nox & Beckers remix of Quivver riding high in the Beatport techno charts as we speak.

Lets start with ‘Arise'. The beautiful blend of tinkling light arps and big phat bass sounds combine beautifully. Some tracks just come along and cause major devastation, and this is one of those!Press play, listen, and smile!

'Music' (feat. Beckers & Alex Stein) is a solid gem, where the emotive vibes flow lusciously, while the bass wraps you up like a comforting blanket of sound. This is a melodic gem and a half!

Rounding things off nicely, we find 'In Between'. This skippy beat laden moodier affair still oozes melodies and fuses the darker side with the light. Hot stuff!

Martin Buttrich and Guti dropped it the LAb LA as part of Buttrich's #9414 20 Year Celebration Tour.

Martin Buttrich has been on the scene for twenty years and his slick production skills have earned him Grammy nominations and massive respect among the heavyweights of dance music. The Barcelona native has embarked on a two-month global tour to celebrate his twenty years in the business, and has also announced a forthcoming record label and a collaboration album due out in 2015. The #9414 20 Years Tour also features a series of huge guests including The Martinez Brothers, Pete Tong, Lee Burridge and Guti.

The Argentinian-born producer Guti found his way into house music via his classically-trained upbringing, a wild South American rock band and by 2010 his career in dance music had firmly taken off. He has releases on a number of notable imprints including Wolf + Lamb, Crosstown Rebels and Supplement Facts, and earlier this year he launched his own label called Rompecorazones Music and his release of the same name was distributed British house slingers Defected Records.

Gabriel Ananda Presents Soulful Techno #35 Finnebassen

Antura Records’ latest release sees label head Ben Teufel team up with Italian producer Luca Maniaci to produce the single ‘Equilibrium’ with two stellar remixes from French electronic music stalwarts Kiko and Matt Sassari. 

Since 2012, Germany’s Antura Records has put out a large number of releases from the likes of Neverdogs, Fabio Neural, Carl Bee and Just A Mood to name a few, whilst still maintaining a certain degree of quality and consistency since its inauguration. The next Antura release comes from Ben Teufel in collaboration with Luca Maniaci, who set out to create a classic melodic techno track for the peaktime named ‘Equilibrium’. 

The original mix of ‘Equilibrium’ kick starts proceedings with its intense warehouse vibe and hypnotising aura. Kiko then delivers a deep and atmospheric rendition loaded with mesmerising synths before Matt Sassari levels off the three tracker with a dark and techy remix built on cavernous kicks and a rumbling low-end. All three tracks differ wildly, with each artist offering their own perspective on the original mix to produce a contrasting remix package.

Jon has never been a follower. Very much his own man and entirely his own artist never being swayed by trends or fashions. Preferring instead to challenge and ask questions of what’s going on around him, Jon’s output has remained unique and interesting right from the start. Experimental at times, but always matured and versatile.
After last summers Knick Knack EP reaching No1 on Beatport it was always going to be tough to follow up with another EP for Jon on Intec.

Playing around with his sound and styles of late (check the recent Screaming Sunrise EP on Etch), The Revival EP has slightly more melodic influences than previous groove based outings. 
All 3 tracks still have those elements to them that Rundell has become known for in his signature way, and the emphasis is on lost mornings and lifting you back up as the sun rises for one more moment.
