Recorded in 2017 as myself, and a cover of the Innerpropriates tune (from their "Thoroughly Revised" collection, available from TRI Records).  I managed to incorrectly transcribe the lyrics (oops!), but I think I managed to capture the spirit of some of the original.

The Softest Drop

Recorded as Days of Eclipse in April 2017, and is a cover of the Pain Teens song, off their "Born In Blood" album on Trance Syndicate.  I re-jigged the lyrics to make it more personal, I guess.  The music is a stripped down version of this tune, and I was overall happy with how this turned out.  The first thing I recorded after a near-ten year lay-off from making music.

My Desire

Recorded by Days Of Eclipse in May 2017.  A cover of the Amy Winehouse number, from her "Frank" album.  This is an instrumental version, as there was no way I was going to attempt the vocals on this!

Stronger Than Me

Recorded by Days Of Eclipse in May 2017, and is a cover of the My Bloody Valentine tune, off their "Ecstasy" mini-album.  I love the original, and I hope I've captured at least the spirit of this number.

(Please) Lose Yourself In Me

The first Ventral Scales recording, made in February 2018. This is a phase piece-type affair using a video ident sample from the long-defunct video label World Of Video 2000. This was taken from the trailer for "Nightmares In A Damaged Brain" and then manipulated. I plan to do more of this sort of thing as well as using guitars etc.

World Of Video 2000

Recorded by Ventral Scales in March 2018.  This is a cover of the tune by Simon Wickham-Smith and Richard Youngs, from their "Ceaucescu" album, released by Forced Exposure in 1992.  The transcription of the lyrics is a bit iffy in places, due to the nature of the vocals on the original.  I do like the original, and hopefully this cover version captures at least halfway the spirit of it.

I Live In A Big City

Recorded by Ventral Scales in July 2018.  This is a cover of a track from Cluster's "Cluster II" album, originally released in 1972 on Brain Records.

Im Sueden

Solo and collaborative tracks recorded in 2006, 2017 and further on.  Was once Days Of Eclipse, will soon be Ventral Scales (or something else).
