Eins, Zwei, Drei, ... Iti Eta No. Here we are for the forthcoming and highly awaited Heimat album !
Wrapped in his astonishing and intriguing artsleeve by the acclaimed illustrator artist Anouk Ricard, here is a handfull of Deviant Pop hard-to-classify songs by the inventors Olivier Demeaux (Cheveu, Accident du Travail) and Armelle Oberlé (The Dreams, Badaboom).
Sometimes very martial like a marching music, sometimes very lyrical, the Heimat's musics are going deeper in these weirdo landscapes, using cinematographic scores and samples over layers of urban cultures, in order to open the gates of the dreamy gazes and the shadowy stories.
Well produced, and readable, the surprising and explosive material is a real Art Brut manifest of collage Music.

Tribak is excited to present our reissue series, *TimeClapse*, spotlighting the golden era of bedroom producers from 1999-2006 in West Jerusalem. This series will bring to light rare and previously unavailable music, for the first time in digital format.

Floors by Joselito, was originally released in 2006 as a limited CD-R on the now-defunct Agit Pop label. The album seamlessly blends intricate rhythms with haunting vocals and atmospheric soundscapes. Its creation was sparked when Joselito came across a field recording of Yemeni Jewish chants, an experience that deeply influenced his music, driving him to meld ancient traditions with his experimental approach to sound.

As a multidisciplinary artist, Joselito has ventured into numerous creative realms, including visual art, books, and video, always pushing against the boundaries of convention. His work is a reflection of his unique perspective, creating an immersive world all his own, free from the constraints of any particular format.

Floors takes listeners through a vivid journey across four distinct chapters. The opening tracks are charged with energy, blending electronic elements with raw, organic percussion. By the third track, which was re-recorded in 2023, Joselito introduces a reimagined love song inspired by ancient texts, taking its emotional core to new extremes. The fourth track shifts to a slower, reflective rhythm, creating a mysterious, meditative atmosphere. The album concludes with a transformative remix by Ivo.Lola, adding an unexpected new layer to Joselito’s work.

The 2024 reissue features a new cover by Avi Bohbot, incorporating archival documents from Jerusalem, which lend a sense of history and depth to this unique release.

The Signal is written as a prequel to Wojciech Golczewski's acclaimed Reality Check album. It is a stripped down electronic compositions reminiscing both of analog synthesizes and primal digital soundwaves that brings us to a more undraped and intimate take on the authors previous space exploration themes. Reminding us of the wast cold emptiness of space and the things we are prepared to sacrifice to escape loneliness.

“It’s not easy to be free, but it’s harder not to be”.These are the first words to Bad Woman, Céline Gillain’s debut LP on DRAMA.

I’ve never had that many difficulties writing a text for a release. There were easy ways of dealing with it actually, like isolating some of the lyrics and making aphorisms out of them that would have punctuated the text. I could have also wrote about her music with hackneyed words and glamorous comparisons with the likes of Laurie Anderson or Leslie Winer.

Maybe is it because it summons the influence of artists that have been crucial in our lives, maybe is it because of the ambition and the absolute sincerity emanating from this record, maybe is it also because of the utter contemporaneity of the record… but I feel stuck.

So I will only say a couple of things. If the idea of an LP following her debut 7″ on Lexi Disques gets you as excited as we were and still are, you won’t be disappointed by Bad Woman. The music on the upcoming album definitely is pop music, but in a disturbing, beyond « good » and « bad » taste kind of way.

It sometimes feel as if Bad Woman has been written by a former Pop diva that saw her expectations being shattered by life and now tries to make her come-back with a new album, influenced by what she believes to be contemporary pop music. The thing is, the result is a mutant blend of everything and anything that has been produced by the music industry these last 30 years, from Cher’s delirious come-back in the 1990’s to the most embarrassing moments in Dance music, and it rather sounds like a record that would have been written in a parallel universe.

That being said, Bad Woman tackles painful issues about our lives as individuals and society but with absolute elegance. After months of being the only one able to listen to it, no need to say that Zaltan & I are now extremely proud and happy to see this record coming to life. Thank you Céline for untrusting with taking care of your album.
