Kronix began his music career over 15 years ago, influenced by his days of going to raves in the mid 90's, he found himself drawn to the drum and bass vibe. Then he found a new genre emerging from the underground scene, and his love for dubstep was born.
With releases on Subotage Records, Under Surveillance Records, Infra Tribes and various guest tracks on blogs within the scene, Kronix often blends the sounds of deep, underground dub, with warping, new age neuro sounds. He spent years working on his sound within the group Dead Noise System, and had input on some of their biggest releases. Although flying solo these days, his affiliation with Benson and DNS is strong, and collaborations and remixes will be in the pipeline.
After a four year break, he is now back more focused than ever, with two EP's scheduled for release with Future Follower Records. An exclusive with After Dark Music and now this huge exclusive with Sacred Doctrine.
Kronix is focused on his music, and you can expect to hear a lot more from him in the near future.

The continuous activity of Locus Sound has quickly become something to admire. Delivering some of my favourites throughout the year from the likes of Maes and Cartridge, the Bristol based label are already looking to branch out whilst keeping things strictly bass centric. Opening up a new outlet for multi-genre projects, Locus Sound welcome fellow Bristol native Roy Bar to the stacked roster, and it's a perfect fit. 'Icarus' moves through six tracks of addictive and diverse dance floor heaters whilst rolling through an impressive wide range of tempos. Being the 140 obsessive that I am however, it's a pleasure to be premiering the lone Dubstep focused track of the six, 'Growler'.
