About the guests

@librarianmusic - Andrea Graham, better known by her stage name The Librarian, is a celebrated Canadian DJ, producer, and curator. She is the co-founder and music director of Bass Coast Music Festival – known internationally for its innovative music programming and installation art – and is widely considered one of bass music's leading creative minds and tastemakers. Equally an artist and entrepreneur, Andrea’s reputation as an inclusive community-builder in the electronic world has brought her a legion of fans and industry followers across the globe.

@vibesquad OG Bass music legend VibeSquaD is celebrating 15 years of releases and shows. This year VibeSquaD contributed a new single to MUISIQUE V.1 compilation curated by Clozee for her label Odyzey Music. VibeSquaD is the work of Aaron Holstein who turned 50 this year. His newest project is called Backpact, a plush analog lo-fi blunted sunset cruise through your afterthoughts.

Just as I hope my music will continue to evolve and grow, I feel like I outgrew my old name. What a beautiful honor to share this experience in a place that is so special to me, The Black Box. A renowned underground electronic music venue that has a specially tailored sound system, which is one of two ever created. Such an honor to flex this beautiful system with so many of my dear friend's tracks, and artists who feel like friends because of the amount of hours I've spent with their creations. 
But I have to admit, my favorite part of my set was hearing MY voice through the system! Something that at first terrified me, as soon as I heard myself real-time living out my dreams, all anxiety melted away. 

Nothing could ever beat that feeling; of being so scared and feeling completely unable to do something that you end up realizing is utterly intrinsic.

Black Box Set Mix

Expanding on the resonance of the 'Apollo' album, Dysphemic has brought together nine notable producers from around the world spanning the realms of drum and bass, techno, and glitch hop. The forthcoming remix album on 8Ball Audio pays homage to the multi genre original while exploring fresh sonic landscapes.

The remixed 'Apollo' retains the cinematic core of the original album blending the Mediterranean and Egyptian-Greek undertones of Dysphemic and close collaborator Yiani Treweeke with the fresh energy of guest producers. More than just a remix album, it's an exploration through the world of bass music, with each track crafted with care and passion.

Anticipate a reimagined 'Peyote Demon' with furious drum and bass percussion contrasted by 'Desert Hawk' taking on a mid-tempo stomp. From 'Primate' to ‘Arch Angel’, each track offers a unique sonic exploration.

Solace

Brotherhood

Born and raised in Mulubinba (Newcastle AU), KreliaS, expertly fuses heavy metal's energy, progressive/alternative and psychedelic rock, and dub bass lines to craft dark and emotive drum and bass soundscapes. 

He co-hosted Cabin Fever Sessions on Orbital Radio and was a resident DJ with Cabin Fever Crew in Sydney (Dec 2021-Feb 2023) and is currently the creative co-director of Newy Bass Crew in Newcastle, fostering a bass community and performing at various events. Notably, he was featured on Bristol's Goat Shed Radio show, The Down Underground, and has showcased his talent at significant events, supporting artists like Brazilian legend Jam Thieves, heavy hitters from Overview Music, Klinical, label boss Energy, and UK jungle powerhouses Serial Killaz and Dillinja. 

Additionally, he has hit the underground festival and doof circuit playing at events such as Zenith Gathering Festival, Basscamp, Ipso Facto and Subsonic Music Festival. KreliaS has quietly been working on producing his own music to bring his own flavour of drum and bass to his sets, and to the world.

This album is a golden apple from Eris herself, a polymorphous journey soaring through the psychonautical altitudes of the here and never ever, peeling through the shifting layers of aural hallucinations to find some sort of sanity and spirit at the core. With moments of zen-like lysergic reflection mixed with bamboozling SNAFUs of pure spiritual vertigo ‘The Hallucinatory Mountain’ is the amalgamation of years of dedication and optimism, a promising seed with more fruit to bear.

We are excited to share this new mix with you from @Cirqular coming out of Mexico!

There is no genre in particular in which Cirqular develops sound, but it can be said he has taken the shamanic bass path, blending lo frequencies with organic chants and world instruments shifting tempos and drum patterns in a non constrained way. 
Has been playing since 2015 mostly in Mexico´s finest chill out stages in Psytrance Festivals like Ometeotl, Kupuri, Promissed Land, Ritual , Zelebra.

In september 2017 for first time in the US at Oakland´s Wormhole wednesdays as part of a Street Ritual takeover night.
