Born in Naples then moved to Berlin in 2011, @francesco-de-luca is a minded artist, running the label @nosignalbln. 
He developed his passion for music when he got his hands on his first vinyl records and  turntables at young age. He kept following the path of music that finally led him to the sound of Techno.

Experimenting, developing his skills for years and expanding his love for Techno also to the DJ side; wandering between various genres and never standing still. He constantly keeps exploring and building up his very own handwriting in electronic sounds. Expressed through smart releases on his own label or others as 4trk Records (Run by DJ Hyperactive), and dope mixes, like this one.

What started as a prologue in 2018, created by Corpus founders Arma and Kan, has grown into a full-fledged showcase of the label's versatile sound and eclectic roster of artists. He’s also the founder and manager of the Unusual Record label, with broad musical spectrum. This project allows him to open up to all inspirations offered by the current of electronic music in order to further refine his creativity.

For our 20th edition we were able to bring you an artist who’s really been making huge moves in the scene both on his own and with the incredible HAYES Collective from Portugal. Temudo actually started out in drum n bass which explains certain choices of aesthetic in his techno.

Having studied music and being a mixing and mastering engineer himself, Temudo blends the musical and technical approaches in order to control powerful sound designs often through controlled saturation. Sequenced textures give a lot of groove to his pacey tracks and it’s for this reason he’s been able to score a lot of very interesting record deals with some of the scene’s most sought-after labels. Klockworks, Soma, and MORD have all had the chance to work with him and that’s only this year.

Much like Maserati or Gucci, the name Alarico has become synonymous with Italian quality. The young Milan based artist sends his listeners on mindbending techno trips, fuelled by a lean and kinky, 90's infused sound. His journey began in 2015, when he traversed Italy's clubs learning the art of Djing and music production. In 2019 then he gave himself the alias of Alarico, derived from his own name, demonstrating that he pours his heart and soul into every track. The result is a unique sound of fast-paced rhythms and trippy grooves, reflecting his personal attitude as well as his background in hip-hop and japanese culture. His debut in 2020 saw him release on Joton's Newrhythmic records, which was followed up by releases on OOM records as well as  releasing on his own Katana Imprint. With more exciting things on the horizon, we can't wait what this guy has in store for us!

Lost In Ether | Podcast #150 | Volster

BIO:
Over the past few years, somewhat mysteriously, Volster has graduallybecome one of the most noted fresh figures of the Croatian electronic scene, leaving his signature through production, DJing, event organisation and, since recently, launching his own vinyl label, Out of Place.
The main subculture Marko was positively exposed to in the 90’s was techno, a style he has been practicing for almost two decades now. As he was performing within and outside the Croatian borders, Volster gradually started experimenting with his sound in the production process that led to signing his early releases with a few smaller foreign record labels. Frequent travelling around Europe and absorbing the music of foreign performers, such as Sandwell District, Mike Parker and Sleeparchive, significantly affected him and his relationship with the similar sound grew even stronger.
After launching Out of Place label, the only logical move was to start publishing his music, making his Nihilist EP label’s first release. What characterises Nihilist EP are harsh and cosmic tangles that vary from hypnotic techno to Detroit inspired electro, which guaranteed noted feedback from a few well-known artists. In addition, this release earned him the biggest recognition for the electronic music in Croatia, by winning the Klubska Scena award for Ambassador of the Year in the Vinyl of the Year category.
Parallel to the new musical chapter of his life, Volster launched TRAUM and Hipertenzija events in his hometown, bringing a new style of techno and club life, characteristic for the majority of Europe, to the local audience. Francois X, Amotik, DJ Deep, Antigone, Etapp Kyle, Paula Temple and Cassegrain are some of the few names that TRAUM hosted so far.
2018 saw a radical turn in his vision as establishing himself as an artist by launching his self-managed imprint, Secession. The first record entitled “The Process of Becoming” was released in December of 2018 featuring remixes from Swedish master of contemporary techno Anthony Linell and talented Berlin based duo Cassegrain. Second release is set for winter 2020.
To this day Volster has performed across the Europe ranging from clubs in Berlin and Budapest to festivals like Dimensions Festival and Modem Festival with his most notable appearance and debut performance in infamous club Berghain - Panorama Bar on September 2019.
