Having debuted on 'Anjunadeep 14’ earlier this year via a beatless remix from James Grant and Jody Wisternoff, ‘HER' now sees full release on Anjunadeep’s downtempo sister imprint, Reflections.

After both studying at the Conservatory of Rotterdam, Lukas Amer and Sjoerd Huissoon united over their love of electronic music and soon started working together as Amy Root. Inspired by artists such as Jamie XX, Overmono, Thom Yorke and Rival Consoles, the duo draw on a wide spectrum of influences that have helped shape their distinctive sound, one that masterfully toes the line between euphoric and melancholic.

In recent years, Amy Root’s catalogue has racked up over two million streams on Spotify, with over 100,000 monthly listeners worldwide and won support across BBC Radio 1, Radio 1 Dance and BBC 6 Music.

I hadn't planned to make this a regular online affair, but my live shows are slightly held up whilst the perfect website is being conjured from mouse clicks and imagination.

Something of an autumnal feel in this latest instalment of my Eclectic Mix project, and certainly a little darker than the Volume 1 demo. I've made an effort to include artists who didn't feature heavily in the first recording, and I will continue to do that to the best of my abilities whilst maintaining some coherence. It's not perfect, but that makes it all the more human.
