The title of the poem means the “purpose of life is life itself”. Replying to the much asked question, “What is the purpose of life?”, Sadhguru has often answered that life is too big for any purpose – this is the essence of “Uyir Nokkam.”

Here is the English translation of the refrain:

The blossoming of flowers is life’s intent
The growing trees are life’s intent
Desires which surface in you are life’s intent
What dwells deep within your heart is also life’s intent

Nadha in Sanskrit means “sound” and Aradhana signifies “worship” or “devotional offering”. Nadha Aradhana is an intuitive synthesis of vocals and instruments performed twice daily in the Dhyanalinga Multi-Religious Shrine at the Isha Yoga Center in Coimbatore. It is offered live without any preplanning which makes the music live, spontaneous and soulful.

An enchanting and deeply healing mix of singing bowls and assorted natural musical instruments in conjuction with voices, Nadha Aradhana is a live offering that enables listeners to slip effortlessly into a receptive mode, making them available to the divine energies and Grace of the Dhyanalinga, and allowing them to experience deep states of meditation.

Every Nadha Aradhana ia an unfailingly moving experience. Emerging as it does from a state of deep interiority, it is an expression of the performers’ reverence and love – a response to the powerful presence of the Dhyanalinga. The soothing tone of the singing bowls sets the tone, inviting listeners to delight in an arabesque of pure sounds, unmediated by sahitya or lyrical content. Here singers of Indian and Western styles combine with the vocal and guitar to create a soaring oblation of sacred sound. As the music draws to a close, an intense and passionate sequence of Indian percussion takes over, its lingering echoes enabling listeners to experience the imminent silence that follows in a way they never have before.

Nadha Aradhana is performed in the Dhyanalinga Temple daily from 11.50 am to 12:10 pm and from 5:50 pm to 6:10 pm – timings that are recognized as sandhya kalas, or phases when nature itself undergoes a deep transition, and are known to be especially conducive for one to experience dhyana or meditation.

'Sri Subrahmanya Bhujangam'  composed by Sri Aadi Sankara 

Subramanya Bhujangam is a stotra sung under inspiration by Sri Aadi Sankara at Tiruchendur. Aadi Shankaracharya composed this stotra (hymn) in the Bhujanga meter (cycle of 5) in enumeration of Lord Subramanya, also known as Lord Muruga, a great divine serpent.  When he meditated upon Sri Subramanya, he became aware of a self luminous light shining in his heart and the words just flowed from his mouth.
The term 'Bhujangam' indicates the shape and movement of the 'serpent'. 
The verses in this stotram are composed like the movement of a serpent. 

This is the first verse, extolling the virtues of the cute yet powerful Baby Ganesha. 

सदा बालरूपाऽपि विघ्नाद्रिहन्त्री
महादन्तिवक्त्राऽपि पञ्चास्यमान्या ।
विधीन्द्रादिमृग्या गणेशाभिधा मे
विधत्तां श्रियं काऽपि कल्याणमूर्तिः ॥१॥

sadA bAlaroopApi vighnAdri hanthri, 
mahAdanthi vaktrApi panchAsyamAnyA
vidheendhrAdhi mrigyA gaNeshAbhidhAme, 
vidhatthAm shriyam kApi kalyANamurthi

Meaning:
Though He always sports the appearance of a child, He can crumble the mountains of obstacles. Though He is elephant-faced, He is honored even by his five-faced father, Shiva . Lord Brahma, Indra and the other Devas seek him to fulfill their aspirations. He is known as Ganesha and He is endowed with boundless glory. May He bless me with prosperity!
