Hat Full of Sunshine came about through the inimitable Professor Elemental who is a rapper on Tom Carauna's label Tea Sea Records who specialises in Chap-Hop. I think he may even have invented it. I've always loved his stuff. I was in the middle of touring my first album and had popped in on Tom to record some stuff for our own project. Tom played me the track and said they were looking for some 40's style BV's so I said I'd give it a go, they had a few lines and I cam up with the melody instantly and recorded it, it was all very smooth, easy.... and happy!!!
