“Note to Self, the first single from the upcoming T. Nile album "Beachfires", was written during one of many improvisational jam sessions between Sadowick and T. Nile. Sadowick knew of T. Nile's longtime love affair with the western music of Ennio Morricone, and enlisting the guitar magic of Dave Quanbury, he created a sonic backdrop perfect for Tamara's improvised words and melody. She drew from words written during the last days of her father's life.  In the lyrics, she asks “Will you love me like this?” reflecting on life’s fragility, and how sometimes in your most vulnerable moments, the love that’s most uncertain, is the love you give yourself”. The single "Note to Self" will be streaming worldwide on Nov. 16th 2018 // New album “Beachfires” out in April 2019

Like in Hollywood, parts of the music industry 'sweet talk' and exploit young artists and I, like many others, experienced this when I was starting out. Eventually I became disillusioned and exhausted, so I stepped away to regroup. ABOUT T. NILE
T. Nile is an award-winning Canadian performing songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist. Blending gritty western guitars, soulful harmonies, bright banjo arpeggios, dark beats, and electro-pop accents, Nile creates a sound at the leading edge of the Electro-folk movement.
