"WHEN THE LEAVES FALL" is an album about acceptance—an examination of what we know as the human condition. Accepting that we can and will be alone; I started writing this album two years ago. Focusing on the theme of longing and dying relationships. The impermanence of leaves reflects the emotional capacity we hold for one another. I want listeners to know it's ok to feel alone. It's ok to not have your feeling validated and returned. It's a cruel world we live in and at some point we're all destined to be broken. But when leaves fall they grow again. You can be a hollow mess and still be beautiful like a willow tree. At some point, you will be whole again. You'll be fine.
