As a measure of the City of Toronto’s Long-term Financial Plan I was asked to step in and bring forth my expert opinion in order to identify, analyze and evaluate 5 different revenue tools the City can implement in order to fix structural deficits in their operating budgets and finance their $33 billion capital budget.

In today’s episode I am going to go over some of the key characteristics of revenue tools I think can get the City back on track. Then, I will analyze these tools in respect to 6 criteria. Finally, I will provide my expert opinion on the mix of revenue tools I believe Toronto should use right now in order to FIX THAT BUDGET!
