This mix is a remake of the set I made for @sicnalradio. Because of the very bad sound quality, I decided to re-mix it at my little home studio. I normally wanted to wait a bit, but the urgent case of a POC trans woman in need forces me to publish it now. 
Due to the lockdown restrictions she is experiencing a terrible foreclosure, which has led her to current viral threat, in lack of any resource in order to pay her bills, we are making an effort to raise some money so that she can continue to have shelter, electricity and water until travel is open and she can to continue her struggle for survival.

For the three days event "There is no satisfaction" @PARKS, Hamburg, I was asked to play a 1 hour set. Unfortunately, I was interrupted by the police who asked us to stop the music now. The audience loved the set so much, that I promised to mix it at home with all of its glory. 
So, here you have the whole set as it was planned plus another 20 minutes extra material. 
A mixture of Chicago House, Acid House and some Techno which blends in perfectly to create another hommage to Black and Queer and Trans Excellence.

The Forbidden Bodies Acid Mix @PARKS

Let´s celebrate the end of 2021 with a Hi NRG mix I played back @PARKS for the Feminist Futures Salon. It is an hommage to the old gay club sound which was shaped by the queer icons Sylvester James and Patrick Cowley. Hi NRG will always be connected with the tragedy of the Aids pandemic, which took so many queer lives too soon. 
This mix highlights some of the most important tracks of that time and coats them with a swirl of Electroclash, which itself is a revival of the old gay disco club sound.

Femme Future Set @ Feminist Futures Salon

The TRANSTRONICA Festival was the first ever electronic music festival with an all trans* lineup. As the curator and founder, I set myself on the last evening, called "Celeste". It is about time to summarise my set filled with what I would call is 100% Saeleen Bouvar: sickening beats, oriental influences, Acid sounds and melodies to die for.

Oriental Voguing Inferno @Vogelball 2022

So I decided to rework the second part of my set and to offer you a trilogy of House with three of my performances in 2022. Initially, this was the set, I played for the Queer Bcademy @PARKS Hamburg. In this first part, the focus is on early House music, mainly from the late 80s. This era has a very special feel to it, it is the time, electronic dance music evolved to this certain club sound between Wave, Pop, House, Acid and what will later be known as Techno. Enjoy!

When I was invited once again to play for the Arab queer community of Hamburg, I felt a deep joy, an affirmation, a return. This set is my offering. It is a sonic journey drenched in desire, soaked in love, and ignited by heat.
From slow sensual pulses to ecstatic eruptions,  these sounds are for every body that knows longing, every heart that resists erasure, every spirit that insists on joy.

Hawaa Oriental Set @ Queeriental

ALLOU, from the Greek for “elsewhere”, explored how trans artists continue to expand the language of electronic music: five visions, five approaches, five trans musicians reshaping rhythm, sound, and identity on Hamburg’s dancefloor.
My set was conceived as a homage to my younger self, to the moment I first began experimenting with abstract IDM and the desire to build new sonic architectures beyond Western rhythm and narrative. It reflects my ongoing vision: to deconstruct the known, to let rhythm breathe in unfamiliar ways, and to create something unbound.
This recording is an extended studio version developed from the original live set. It revisits the material with more time and space, allowing the ideas, textures, and sense of “elsewhere” that ALLOU was meant to evoke to fully unfold.

I revisited my BCCO mix to record an extended version for my podcast. This expanded cut allows the narrative to breathe further, opening additional spaces for movement, tension, and release. Rather than revising the original intention, the extension deepens it, letting the mix unfold beyond its initial frame and follow its own logic of duration and resonance. It was the most influencial gay club in the 80s when it brought the Chicago and Acid House to Germany. I was too young to actually party at the FRONT, but I was willing to give it a try recreating what I would play at a party. Burning Barrel Acid Realness @Kampnagel

The Trans Day Of Remembrance is a day we mourn our siblings who were murdered because of the hatred towards trans people. 
One of the most popoular documented murder of a trans woman was Venus Xtravaganza, a young iconic Latina famous for her appearance in "Paris is Burning". 
She was found four days later, on Christmas day, strangled and hidden under a bed at the Duchess Hotel in New York. 
The murderer never got caught. The death of Venus still hurts so much, because we have a documented tape which shows the aspiring model so full of life with all of her dreams and hopes. 
She stands for so many young trans women who are murdered every day. 
This set is an homage to Venus and thus and homage to all the young girls gone too soon. As much as they want us dead, we will keep on living and dancing. 
This is not a mournful set, it is a set like Venus, vivid, cunt, sassy and sexy!
